Here are just a few key highlights fromthis year’s graduating class:Highest reported average base salary. The Class of 2019 reported an averagebase salary of 124,798 an increase of over 11,000 from the previous year.Rice Business talent continues to be in demand and organizations are offering evengreater incentives to attract top talent to their teams.Consulting took over as top hiring industry. After years of energy and financialservices trading the top industry for our graduates, consulting came out on top thisyear. Nearly a third of our graduates 29.5% accepted jobs in consulting at anaverage salary of 140,359. Top consulting firms have come to appreciate and dependupon what Rice MBAs offer: strong analytical skills, client management acumen anddiversity of thought that make them client ready from day one.The Rice Business network matters. Over 82% of accepted jobs were sourcedthrough the Rice Business community.
