Sound Transmission Class Installation Guide For Walls And .

Transcription

Sound Transmission Class (STC)These are the decibels (dB) which express the unit ofintensity, pressure or sound power. They are calculated by alogarithmic relationship between the measured value and thereference value. Complete silence corresponds to a soundlevel of 0 dB, a business office in operation, 60 dB, a car incirculation, 80 dB and a plane taking off, approximately 100dB. The noise level between the transmitter and the receivershould decrease with distance and obstacles. Between twodwellings, a wall or ceiling can be used to reduce soundtransmission.Suppose you are in a room next to an other one where twopeople are chatting. Depending the construction of the walland its acoustic performance, the STC indices indicate whatyou can hear .STC 35:A normal voice discussion is audible andintelligible.STC 40:A loud voice is audible but unintelligible.STC 45:A loud discussion is barely audible.STC 50:A loud voice is almost no longer heard.STC 55:A loud discussion is inaudible.A sound transmission class (STC) is calculated indecibels. The higher this index, the higher the levelof perceived noise is attenuated.BENEFITS SUMMARY OFSONOPAN PANELSđƫ ƫ!4,!*/%2!Ďđƫ / . ƫ ƫ3% !.ƫ. *#!ƫ "ƫ/ 1* ƫƫ ƫƫƫ".!-1!* %!/Ďđƫ %0 ƫ/0 (!ƫ, 5/% (ƫ %)!*/% */Ďđƫ %# 03!%# 0Čƫ! /5ƫ0 ƫ 10ƫ * ƫ%*/0 ((Ďđƫ ""!.%*#ƫ ƫ *0%*1 1/ƫ 1/0% ƫ .%!.Ďđƫ !ƫ3%0 ƫ.! 5 (! ƫ3 ƫ"% !./Ďđƫ *ƫ0 4% Ďđƫ 2 %( (!ƫ 0ƫ) /0ƫ 1%( %*#ƫ) 0!.% (/ƫƫƫƫƫƫƫƫƫƫƫ.!0 %(!./ĎFOR OPTIMAL SOUNDPROOFINGSONOPAN is an environmentally friendly high-performancesoundproofing panel with patented technology. Provided withdimensions of cavities and various depths on both sides,SONOPAN absorbs a greater frequency range thereof, significantly reducing the transmission of noise and vibrationfrom one room to another. SONOPAN panel is the best choicefor your soundproofing projects such as multi-housing,condominiums, two-generation building, home theaters, music studios, bath rooms, etc.IAScAeSks
