The census was based on Proxy Mean TestApproach, administered through poverty scorecard tool. It was the first ever end to end digitalpoverty census in Pakistan which covered 34.2 million HHs in throughout Pakistan including allregions and provinces. The geo enabled survey was carried out using android and IVAS devices inall across the country. Each HHs was given with a score ranging from zero to hundred. The SocioEconomic Census provides profiling at HHs level with regards to Demographic, Education, Health,Disability, Employment Status, Durable goods, Reproductive assets, Energy Consumption,Telecommunication usage, Housing Structure, Land Holdings, WASH and other importantindicators which contribute in score at HHs level. Being an Implementation lead I had followingResponsibilities: Survey Design Conceptualization and documents including Operations Manual, M&EManual and Contacts.

The program was focused on registration of IDP families, provision of unconditional andconditional cash transfers and mother health, nutrition and immunization uptake promotionamongst affected population of erstwhile FATA districts. The program provides targeted HHs with unconditional cash transfers onquarterly basis. The conditional cash transfers include stipend, primary education, nutrition andmicrofinance support programs along with TVET and SME development initiatives.Being evaluation lead for BISP, I had following Responsibilities: Lead author of the Poverty Profiling of Pakistan provides poverty stats at district level.
