Leo Wozniak Memorial AwardThe Leo Wozniak Memorial Award is presented to Colorado's professional truck driver who best exemplifiestrue professionalism as evidenced by his driving record, skill, attitude and personality, and whodemonstrates these qualities through his competitive spirit in the Truck Driving Championships.The award is being presented in memory of Leo, who throughout his life was dedicated to the cause andpromotion of safety and the continual improvement of the professional truck driver. To his end, Leo was oneof the original founders of the Colorado Council of Safety Supervisors; he was one of the principals whoinitiated the rebirth of the Colorado State Truck Roadeo in 1965 and was one of the guiding lights in theformation of the Colorado Association of Roadeo Truck Champions, better known as C.A.R.T.
