I am indeed happy that theLord has seen fit to keep me here another year to be a part of the 57th National Home and ForeignMissionary Convention. I praise God for all of His blessings and most of all I praise Him for His greatsalvation.The word of God tells us in Matthew 28:19-20 to go and make disciples of all the nations. Go yetherefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the HolyGhost: Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you: and, lo, I am with youalways, even unto the end of the world. Amen.The fields are ready to harvest but the laborers are few. Do not become idle or loiter by thewayside. Go! The Master calls for reapers and for you to labor in his harvest fields today! But ye shallreceive power, after that the Holy Ghost is come upon you: and ye shall be witnesses unto me both inJerusalem, and in all Judaea, and in Samaria, and unto the uttermost part of the earth. Acts 1:8There is so much work to be done. Will you be willing to be a witness for the Lord? Are you ready towitness for the Lord? Bishop of MissionsBishop Thomas MartinBishop of MissionsGreetings!Praise the Lord for the 57th National Home and Foreign Missionary Convention, staff anddelegates. The Word of the Lord says in Romans 8:19, “For the creation waits in eager expectationfor the children of God to be revealed.” It’s waiting in expectation for God’s glory to be revealed inthe lives of mankind. The church has a hugh responsibility to extend God’s truth to the world today.For it is by truth that many are made free from the bondage of sin. Sin has had a negative affect onpeople, our universe and the way we do things, but be encouraged, Christ is the answer to the sinproblem. Therefore, it’s important that we share God’s word to this sin-shaped world.Christ’s coming is near and as we wait for the ultimate manifestation of his appearance, let’sremember that His great power is yet active in our midst both locally and globally.It is my prayer that we strive collectively reach the uttermost parts of the world with the hopeof eternal life (Titus 1:2) as we spread the theme of this convention, “The Kingdom of God is atHand.”Sincerely,Bishop Thomas Martin

He has given us another opportunity to assemble again for the NationalHome & Foreign Missionary Convention. God has smile upon Mt. Sinai Holy Church of America, Inc.and blessed her to celebrate the 57th National Missionary Convention.Pause for a moment and think on the condition of the world at large. Surely we realize that thecoming of the Lord is nigh at hand. Since the coming of the Lord is at hand, what manner of person weought to be? We need to be up and about our Lords' business. That is, making disciples and leadingmen, women and children to accept Jesus as their personal savior. Certainly, it is not about popularityit is all about awakening people to righteousness. Surely, the coming of the Lord is near and you canfeel it in the atmosphere. It is high time to do what Mt Matthews 3:2 says “And repent ye for theKingdom of heaven is at hand.” Be sure that everything is right with God.I pray that the convention will be a success and the spirit of God flows heavily in our midst.Be BlessedBishop Grace R. It isone of my favorite times of the year. I always havehigh expectations that a mighty move of God willtake over every convention service, and this yearwill not be any different. I trust that all attendeeswill be encouraged, strengthened, and given adeeper desire to work the works of Him who sent usas labourers into His harvest. And, I am very excited to be given Fridaybecause I absolutely LOVE family!My family is so awesome. Once, my father told thecongregation at Mt. Zion that those who don't like loudnoise should stay away from the Fonville's house whenfood is involved. He is right - the grandkids take“loud” to a whole new level! Still, food and family issuch a wonderful combination. It is my prayer that Ibring this concept to the convention.Let's have family reunion at church. For the years thatI am Vice President, you are invited to literally bringyour family members to Friday Night service and allthe seminars during the day. Together, we willcelebrate an institution that God established from thevery beginning of time. We will feast on spiritualfood. My goal is to commend you to the word of hisgrace, which is able to build you up, and to give you aninheritance among all them which are sanctified. This is her first yearserving as the Recording Secretary for theNational Home & Foreign Missionary convention.Formerly, she served two terms as the Treasuryof the Federation of the Deep South. Feliciaseeks any opportunity to serve the members ofher church, family, co- workers, friends, and hercommunity by sharing financial insight &expertise, leading coupon seminars/sessions,raising funds & donating food to a local shelter(via employer CIT Bank).
