Welcometo the 56th Wickford Art Festival,I am so excited to be sharing this wonderful festival withyou. We have 200 amazing artists from across the countryexhibiting their fine art on the streets of our beautiful seasidevillage. Our artists have brought their best work for you toenjoy. Take home a unique piece of art work that you love,you will enjoy it forever! Remember there is no sales tax onfine art in the state of Rhode Island.This long-standing festival is produced by the Wickford Art Association (WAA) and islisted as the number one fine art festival in New England, and number FIVE in the USA.Proceeds from the Wickford Art Festival benefit our art programs, gallery exhibits, andcommunity events along with our WAA Scholarship Fund. This scholarship is awardedannually to high school students attending an art college. This year’s aspiring youngartists are exhibiting their work in Updike Park, booths 40 & 41. In the same location,you will find our Scholarship Raffle that will support next year’s winners. Take a chanceon winning original art work donated by our art members and festival artists. It is onlya dollar a ticket and the prizes are worth up to 950.00. The drawing is held Sundayafternoon at 4:00 pm, and you need not be present to win!We would like to thank our Gold Member Sponsors, BankNewport, and Bank RI, ourSilver Member Sponsors, Fuller Art Gallery and Framing, and Washington Trust fortheir support in this year’s event.
