Emergency stop systemsPrysmian Group emergency stop sytem calledPressLine is a unique system that offers continuous emergency stop protection around complexindustrial hazards. The system is used in many applications throughout the world. It has proven particularly successful for conveyor system in AirportBaggage Control. The actuating device is patentedpressure sensitive cable that can follow any routeup to 10 km. Activations is by pressing, beding orpulling the cable at any point along its length. ThePressLine control unit monitors the pressuresensitive cable and employs rigorously tested solidstate technology.The control unit continuously monitors the cableand confirms system functionality.
