Washington Lost!. #629 Hamilton's battery2 cent stampwhich was issued in 1926 in a 100-stamp sheet was reissued as aspecial 25-stamp sheet with a commemorative inscription in themargin for the International Philatelic Exhibition, the FIRST USsouvenir sheet. The stamp shows a gun crew in action, fourmen in Continental uniform with cannonballs and ammunitionThis special sheet was only available for purchase at the showand at the Philatelic Agency in Washing DC. They were NOTissued to postmasters for sale to the public.
