The qualificationIntroductionThe Level 3 NVQ Diploma in Beauty TherapyMassage is a job ready qualification based onNational Occupational Standards (NOS).This qualification has been mapped tothe relevant NOS, and is regulated on theRegulated Qualifications Framework.This qualification will provide you with theknowledge, understanding and skills to workcompetently as an advanced beauty therapistspecialising in massage. Throughout thisqualification you will monitor procedures tosafely control work operations, contribute to theplanning and implementation of promotionalactivities, provide body massage treatments,provide Indian head massage, carry outmassage using pre-blended aromatherapy oilsand provide stone therapy treatments.This qualification is approved and supported bythe Hairdressing and Beauty Industry Authority(HABIA), the standard setting body for hair,beauty, nails and spa qualifications.You will be assessed on your occupationalcompetence.2National Occupational Standards (NOS)PrerequisiteLearners who wish to undertake thisqualification must also achieve the VTCT(ITEC) Level 2 Award in Infection Prevention(COVID-19) for Beauty Therapy and NailServices qualification or a regulated equivalent.
