Call for applications for tuition fee waivers for international studentsenrolling at the University of Pavia in the academic year 2022/23DEADLINESCall 1: 25th November 2021Call 2: 10th January 2022Call 3: 25th February 2022Call 4: 10th April 2022Call 5: 31st May 2022ART. 1 - Subject, duration and amountIn order to encourage international students to enroll at the University of Pavia, 150 tuition feewaivers will be awarded on a “First come first served” basis to students enrolling in selectedBachelor’s or Master’s degree programs at the University of Pavia for academic year 2022/23.The holders of the exemption must confirm their enrollment and only pay the tuition fee installmentthat covers a regional tax for the right to higher education and the duty stamp. The sum - around 156.00 - is revised annually and can therefore be subject to slight variation. The exact sum to bepaid for students enrolling in the 2022/23 academic year will be made known at a later time.The fee waiver is effective for the first year only and cannot be extended or renewed.ART. 2 - RequirementsAll the applicants must fulfill the following requirements:1. Hold a non-Italian citizenship (either Non-UE or EU);2. Hold a residency outside Italy;3. Hold a High School diploma/Bachelor’s degree obtained outside Italy;4. Be admitted to one of the Bachelor’s or Master’s degree programs listed in Attachment 1.ART. 3 - IncompatibilityTuition fee waivers are not compatible with:- Any other kind of scholarship/grant issued by the University of Pavia;- EDiSU Pavia scholarship:Students who apply for a fee waiver can also apply for EDiSU scholarship via a call that ispublished in July every year (see www.edisu.pv.it). The EDiSU scholarship consists of a grant,a free meal/day at the canteens, free accommodation in an EDiSU college and a fee waiver.As the fee waiver is already included in the EDiSU scholarship, EDiSU scholarship winnerswill automatically lose the fee waiver offered by this call;- Study grants issued by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation(MAECI);- Study grants issued under an Erasmus Mundus Joint Master’s degree;- Multiple or joint degree programs for which tuition fees have to be paid to a partnerUniversity other than the University of Pavia.1

ART. 4 - Application submission: terms and proceduresThe application for the tuition fee waiver must be submitted at the time of applying for a studyprogram on the online platform apply.unipv.eu by the following deadlines:Call 1: 25th November 2021Call 2: 10th January 2022Call 3: 25th February 2022Call 4: 10th April 2022Call 5: 31st May 2022In order to submit your application you have to:1. Sign up on the platform apply.unipv.eu by creating your account. While signing up, insert thecode FW UNIPV 22 23 in the “I have a reference code” section2. Complete the application for a study program by filling out the profile with all of the requireddata, uploading the necessary documentation.If you previously forgot to request the fee waiver, you can still proceed so by clicking on: yourname at the upper right of the page "My profile" "Have a reference code?" insert thecode FW UNIPV 22 23;3. Officially submit the application by clicking on the “SUBMIT” button.ART. 5 - Award of tuition fee waiversIn order to be eligible for the fee waiver, candidates must fulfill all the above-mentionedrequirements. Selection will be made on a “First come first served” basis. The fee waiver awardwill be notified by email along with the result of the course application.The fee waiver is effectively applied when the student entitled completes the enrollment procedureby paying the fisrt tuition fee installment that covers a regional tax for the right to higher educationand the duty stamp (approximately 156.00).ART. 6 - Personal data treatmentPersonal data submitted by the applicants will be used solely for application and selectionprocedures and institutional aims, and will be treated in accordance with the European General DataProtection Regulation no. 2016/679 art. 13.ART. 7 - InformationThe Supervisor of the procedure is Elena Fontana, the Head of Marketing and Recruitment Unit atthe University of Pavia.
