For ninemonths, I lived and grew just below your heart. You nourished me with love and food. As a baby, you held me next to your warm beating heart. Outof love, you kept me warm, clean and fed. When I was a child, we hugged and my head wasnext to your heart. You corrected me and kept meclose to the house. Despite feeding me peas, younourished me with your love. When I grew and became a teenager, we huggedand your head was next to my heart. Sorry that wedid not hug as much during these years. I thought Iknew what I needed, and some days, it was notyou. Yet your love never flinched.Observances for the Week of May 13, 2018Sunday: 7th Sunday of Easter; World Communications Day; Mother's DayMonday: St. Matthias, ApostleTuesday: St. IsidoreWednesday:Thursday:Friday: St. John I, Pope & MartyrSaturday:Next Sunday: Pentecost SundayWhen I was an adult, we came together for specialoccasions and sometimes just for fun.
