7 SERIES 50Hz 700A11 SPECIFICATION CATALOG7 Series Design Features cont.Introducing the 7 Series Latest technology compressors- High efficiency permanent magnet scrollcompressor mated with high efficiency electronicvariable speed drive providing 20-100% variablecapacity, soft starting, ultra high efficiency andultra low operating noise. ECM blower motor options- ECM blower motors for the highest in efficiencyand airflow flexibility Efficiency – Variable speed compressor providessome of the highest efficiencies available for improvedseasonal EER/COP which reduces energy use. More Even Temperatures – Nearly continuous operationresults in more even temps in the home. Soft Start Variable Speed Compressor - VS Drive SoftStart provides quieter starting and operation with no‘light flicker’ commonly associated with air conditioningor heat pumps. No IntelliStart is required. Quieter Operation – Typical operation is at lowercompressor speed, and resulting lower airflow meansquieter operation. Higher Heating Capacity - The variable speed unitprovides 20% higher heating capacity than comparabledual capacity or single speed compressor unit forreduced loop length and equipment size for a givencooling capacity. ‘Active’ Dehumidification – In active dehumidificationmode, the VS unit monitors the air coil conditions andadjusts compressor speed and airflow operation tomaximize the moisture removal based upon a dehumidistatcall from the thermostat for improved dehumidification. ‘SuperBoost’ Mode - Occasionally there can be arequirement for a short term ‘boost’ of cooling capacityduring a large party etc. The user can then select‘SuperBoost’ mode on the thermostat which will allowthe variable speed system to ramp up an extra 30% ofcooling capacity if needed. Communicating Digital Thermostats - The Auroracontrols system features either mono-chromatic orcolor touch screen graphic display thermostats for userinterface with the variable speed system. These displaysnot only feature easy to use graphical interface butdisplay alerts and faults in plain English. Aurora Communicating Control Features- Traditional Safety Sensors - HP, LP, condensateoverflow, freeze detection loop, freeze detectionair coil.- Variable Speed and EEV Watchdog Circuit - Drivecontrol continually monitors the VS compressor forproper operation and digitally notifies the AuroraControl of any faults. 8- Communicating Modular Design - Communicatingmodular design for flexibility and expandability.- Intelligent hot water assist control - The Auroracontrol determines operation of hot water assistdependent upon system parameters to maximizeoverall system efficiency. Selectable hot water setpoints through the AID Tool.- Electronic Expansion Valve for improvedrefrigerant control and high efficiency.Loop Pump Slaving - for multiple units on one flowcenter with either variable speed, single, or dual capacityunits.
