A wide viewing angle is suggestedfor roadway and exit applications, and a focused viewing angleis suggested for facility guidance applications.LED is an abbreviation for light emitting diode. An LED is asolid-state electronic device that is much more efficient atcreating light than an incandescent lamp. LEDs contain chemicalcompounds that emitlight when electric current passes through30 them. Different chemical60 compounds emit different colors of light.Unlike incandescent lamps, LEDs have no filaments that can burn70 out or fail. Pixels are points of light thatilluminate to form letters, words, graphics, animation and videoimages. A pixel can be made up of a single LED, multiple LEDsof the same color or multiple LEDs of different colors.
