VMware Solution Exchange (VSX) EUC Fast Track Guide v2This document will provide you with a quick walk through to getting started with VSX and adding or editing an End UserComputing Fast Track listing.Before creating a Fast Track listing you will need to certify in the Horizon Fast Track program. Listings added as FastTrack solutions that have not certified will be declined until they are validated and certified.1. First go to http://marketplace.vmware.com/ and click the Sign In link in the top right corner of the page. Enteryour username and password and click the Sign In button.If you do not have a username and password, click the Sign up for an account button and select Join PartnerProfile.Fill out the required information within the MyVMware account section, and submit. You will receive anotification email if your login request is approved.(Make sure to check your spam/junk mail filters for the registration conformation email)2. Once logged in you will be able to update or add new listings by clicking on Administration.3. 4. After logging in to the administration menu Manage Solutions will appear under the Solutions tab. Find thesolution that you are looking to edit and click the listing title, then choose Edit under Actions and proceed to edityour solution.If your solution is not listed click Add Solution to begin a new listing.5. Complete all of the required information for your listing, paying close attention to the required fields markedwith a red asterisk “*”. Make sure to use the Save Draft button frequently, just to make sure that you do notlose any of your work.6. Under Overview please list the name of the Fast Track listing, your company logo, the version, and a URL thatleads to the solution hosted on your own site or similar under the Solution Try URL: section. In the Overview section please enter a brief summary of the Fast Track listing content including joint valueinformation with VMware.Under the Content section, please include three highlights or one word descriptions of the contents of your FastTrack solution. Also, list a short description of your solution. This can be copied from your joint solution brief,or Architecture.Under the Technical Specifications section, please give a technical overview of the appliance etc. from yourArchitecture or joint solution brief.In the VMware Products section, click add. In the Compatibility section, place a check mark in the appropriate selections for your product in the ContentType, Operating System, and Technology sections. Be sure to mark the appropriate Fast Track type underTechnology.Be sure that your solution has already been validated and certified with the Horizon Fast Track program before submitting a Fast Trackdeployment option. Failing to do so will cause your solution listing to be declined.8. In the Documents and Files section, click “Add”. Type in the name of the Joint Solution Brief, or Architecturedocument, a brief description and choose Docs in the file type. Browse for your document and click Add.9. Be sure to fill out the product form as completely as possible in order for it to be approved. Incomplete solutionlisting submissions will be declined.10. Once you’ve completed your solution listing, click Submit For Approval. This will send your solution listing to theVSX Alliance Team to be reviewed for approval.Horizon Fast Track listings require a separate review and verification from the Horizon Fast Track program team.
