TUESDAY 1POUR FORTH RIGHTEOUSNESSDrip down, heavens, from above, Andlet the clouds pour down righteousness;Let the earth open up and salvation bearfruit, And righteousness sprout with it. I,the LORD, have created it(Isaiah 45:8 NASB).IEEYPOCn James 5:7, the Bible talks about “.the earlyand latter rain.” The early rain is for sowing, while the latter rain is just before harvest. In the OldTestament, they were waiting for a latter rain (ReadJoel 2:28). For them, that latter rain came on the dayof Pentecost when the Spirit was poured out. But thatoutpouring of the Spirit initiated the Church. Therefore, for the Church, the early rain is whatthose in the Old Testament called their latter rain; itwas the beginning of the Church. The latter rain in theChurch is through His Word! Hosea 10:12 says, “Sowto yourselves in righteousness, reap in mercy; breakup your fallow ground: for it is time to seek the LORD,till he come and rain righteousness upon you.”How does He rain righteousness upon you? It’sthrough His Word, just like it happened in the OldTestament when the Word was given to them fromheaven; and because the Word came from heaven itwas called “rain.” Isaiah 55:10-11 also draws a parallelbetween the Word and rain (Read entire reference).RF6

That’s the Word (the Logos of God) that’s in yourheart today. No wonder Jesus said, “He that believeth on me,as the scripture hath said, out of his belly shall flowrivers of living water” (John 7:38). This living watercomes out through words! So, when our theme versetalks about pouring down righteousness, as earlierstated, it’s done through words.Pour forth words! Ecclesiastes 11:3 (NIV) says,“If clouds are full of water, they pour rain upon theearth .” Keep prophesying and filling the clouds ofyour life, city, nation, and even the clouds of the regionsbeyond, with words of blessings and righteousness.Decree God’s words into the realm of the Spirit untilthe rain begins to pour. Your words are powerful. As you speak, the earth will open up and producesalvation and righteousness! Hallelujah!YPOCPRAYEREEI pour down righteousness upon the nations of theworld, in the Name of Jesus! People are comingto Christ and producing fruits of righteousness;wickedness is taken away from men’s hearts, forrighteousness is poured out. The Word of God isgrowing mightily and prevailing in all the nations, resulting in a greater influence of the Gospel, inJesus’ Name. WEDNESDAY 2STAND OUT FOR GODHe was a burning and a shining light:and ye were willing for a season torejoice in his light (John 5:35).WYPOChen Goliath of Gath taunted the armies ofIsrael, they felt helpless and intimidated, until David showed up. David knew he could defeatGoliath, and he did! It wasn’t about strength; it wasabout ideology. The difference between David and theothers was his way of thinking. He started by saying,“ who is this uncircumcised Philistine, that he shoulddefy the armies of the living God?” (1 Samuel 17:26).The circumcision didn’t mean anything to theothers, but it sure meant something to David. He sawthe armies of Israel as the armies of God. Hallelujah!David couldn’t imagine God’s people being defeated;it didn’t matter who the adversaries were. Think likethat. Your desire should be to see the glory of God inand on His people and upon His congregations. Davidsaid, “O God, thou art my God; early will I seek thee:my soul thirsteth for thee, my flesh longeth for theein a dry and thirsty land, where no water is; To seethy power and thy glory, so as I have seen thee in thesanctuary. Because thy lovingkindness is better thanEERF8

life.” (Psalm 63:1-3).That should be your passion as a Christian:God must receive glory everywhere you are andeverywhere you go. Even if others around you don’tthink much about soul winning, be different. Be aburning and a shining light in your school or place ofwork or business. Let your light shine so brightly thatmen may see your good works and be provoked torighteousness. Stand out for God.YPOCCONFESSIONI’m a burning and a shining light, standing out andstanding strong for the Lord. Through my fellowshipwith the Holy Spirit, I increase my fire with everincreasing glory and vision for ministry. I have themindset that makes me fervent, agile and enthusiasticabout the things of God. THURSDAY 3BE MOVED TO REACH THE LOSTAnd Elijah came unto all the people, and said, How long halt ye betweentwo opinions? if the LORD be God,follow him: but if Baal, then followhim. And the people answered himnot a word (1 Kings 18:21).IEEYPOCn 1 Kings 19:10, Elijah said, “.I have beenvery jealous for the LORD God of hosts: forthe children of Israel have forsaken thy covenant .”This was something that God loved about Elijah: hispassion for the Lord. He felt so bad that the peoplewere serving other gods and had neglected the houseof the Lord. So, he said, “Lord, you’ve blessed them somuch; now they don’t want to serve you. Let there beno rain, so they’ll starve for a while and turn to you.”It was his passion for God that made him call fora drought. He wasn’t just trying to punish the people;and God saw his heart. It’s the kind of mind God wantsus to have about His Kingdom. When you see sinnersin your neighbourhood, your school, your workplace, your city, or your nation, let it get your attention. Bemoved to prayer, and then also reach out to themwith the Gospel.Recall that there were One Hundred and FiftyRF10

other prophets who were hiding in the time of Elijah. They weren’t moved by what was going on in the land, even though they hadn’t bowed to Baal. But Elijahstood out for God! He was moved to pray. This isthe same reason you see some Christians who are sostirred and passionate about the things of God today, winning souls into the Kingdom, while others seem tobe distracted by fleshly things.Be different. Be passionate for the Lord. Get busywith evangelism and partnerships for reaching the lostin our world. The Bible says God is not willing that anyshould perish (2 Peter 3:9). You can make a difference, because you’re His mouthpiece and outstretched armof salvation to those in your world and the regionsbeyond.YPOCPRAYEREEDear Father, thank you for the gift of the Gospel, and for allowing me to be a custodian of its message, truth and power. I’m fired up in my spirit to reachthose who are yet to hear the Word of salvation, andI intercede in prayer for them. FRIDAY 4LET JESUS INSPIRE YOUBy this shall all men know that ye are mydisciples, if ye have love one to another(John 13:35).EYPOCvery so often, I read about Jesus in the Word andI’m greatly inspired. I see no greater example,no greater model. I’m inspired by His thoughts, byHis deeds, His passion, His love, His excellence. Hiswords went forth with power. Men heard Him andwere transformed forever. Demons heard His voiceand scampered in terror. Circumstances respondedto His words. How could He be so powerful and yetso loving, forgiving and gracious?Jesus inspires me so much that all I ever want is tobe like Him. But He sent us the Holy Spirit to help usact like Him, think like Him, be powerful, loving andpassionate like Him. When you’re filled with the Spirit, you’re filled with Jesus. That’s the Spirit that made Himeverything that He was in the earth. Today, in His love,He gave us the same Spirit in full measure. Hallelujah! No wonder He said, “ as my Father hath sentme, even so send I you” (John 20:21). So, we gowith the same love, same power, same passion, sameforgiveness, same grace. Hallelujah! Don’t entertainRFEE12

anything that’ll make you bitter or enraged towardssomeone else. Let Jesus inspire you. Walk in love andinspire others to love.Be like Jesus! When He walked this earth, He wasGod tabernacled in human flesh, full of grace, gloryand truth. And the Bible says, “.As He is, so are we inthis world” (1 John 4:17). That means you can think, walk, talk, and act like Him!YPOCPRAYERDear Lord Jesus, thank you for being my inspirationand the personality of my deepest affection. You’refull of grace, glory and truth, so powerful, yet soloving, forgiving and gracious! Thank you for sendingthe Holy Spirit to make me the very embodimentof your character and personality. 5THE POWER OF RIGHTEOUSNESSSATURDAYEven the righteousness of God whichis by the faith of Jesus Christ unto alland upon all them that believe: forthere is no difference(Romans 3:22).IYPOCt was with the gift of righteousness that Abrahamwas able to intercede for Sodom when Godwanted to destroy the city. God had said, “.Shall Ihide from Abraham [My friend and servant] what Iam going to do” (Genesis 18:17 AMPC). Abrahamhad become God’s friend through covenant. The Biblesays Abraham believed God and it was credited tohim for righteousness and he was called the friend ofGod (James 2:23).That was the bestowal; the gift of righteousnesswas given to Abraham and he could boldly engageGod in an intercessory discourse. He said to God,“That be far from thee to do after this manner, to slaythe righteous with the wicked: and that the righteousshould be as the wicked, that be far from thee: Shallnot the Judge of all the earth do right?” (Genesis18:25). He was presenting an argument before God.How could a man have such incredible audacityto speak to God like that? He wasn’t trying to bedisrespectful or impudent; no! He was expressingthe power of the gift of righteousness. Genesis 15:6RFEE14

tells us, “And he believed in the LORD; and hecounted it to him for righteousness.” Hallelujah!Righteousness enables you to stand in the presenceof God without a sense of condemnation or inferiority. This righteousness, according to our theme verse, is“unto all and upon all.” That’s to let you understand thebestowal, the imputation of God’s righteousness to allmen—the legal perspective of this righteousness. Withthis gift, you can decree a thing and have it establishedunto you.Our righteousness is on the basis of a legal claim, and because many aren’t aware they struggle withtheir faith, not sure whether or not their petitions willbe granted. But when you stand on His righteousness, you have no such doubts, because you have the pass!Your claims can’t be refused, because you stand in therighteousness of Jesus Christ. Glory to God!EEYPOCCONFESSIONA righteousness from God—that divine acquittal byfaith—has been manifested, and it’s imputed to myaccount! With that gift of righteousness, I have theboldness and confidence to stand before God withoutguilt, condemnation or inferiority, and pray to Himand expect answers. I have peace with God throughthe Lord Jesus Christ. 6STAYING FILLED WITH THE SPIRITSUNDAYAnd be not drunk with wine, wherein is excess; but be filled withthe Spirit (Ephesians 5:18).WYPOChen I just started in ministry, whenever Ihad an upcoming programme or event, Ialways knew I had to be prepared by being filled withthe Spirit. I practiced being filled with the Spirit. WhenI got filled like that, there was always a manifestation ofthe supernatural. But later on, I thought to myself, “Ifbeing filled with the Spirit every now and then could beso wonderful, how about staying filled with the Spirit?”That power and glory that was available and inmanifestation during those events, I wanted it always, for my daily life. And I discovered that being filled withthe Spirit could actually be always, I went for it andstayed there! It’s like swimming: there’s a way onemight swim and get drowned; there’s also a way toswim and remain afloat. I discovered I could swim inthe Spirit and stay afloat.I discovered that was what God always wantedfor us: staying filled with the Spirit, which was mucheasier than being filled occasionally. It’s a practice. You can go from practicing being filled with the SpiritEERF16

sometimes, to being filled every day; and then learnbeing filled always.Study and meditate on Ephesians 5:18-21 (AMPC)to learn how to be filled and stay filled with the Spirit. It’s the best life! You can’t stay filled with the Spiritand be dominated by sickness, failure, or lack. You’ddiscover that your results are endlessly increasing, yourlife is forward and upward, and you walk in blessingsonly. Hallelujah!YPOCCONFESSIONI’m fully yielded to the Spirit and under His fullsway twenty-four hours each day. I’m effective in myChristian ministry, and I walk in blessings only andto the full, and my life is one of unstoppable successand ever-increasing glory, in Jesus’ Name. MONDAY7WARRING WITH PROPHECIESTimothy, my son, I give you thisinstruction in keeping with theprophecies once made about you, sothat by following them you may fightthe good fight (1 Timothy 1:18 NIV).TYPOChe Passion Translation of the verse above says,“ use your prophecies as weapons .” Thatmeans weaponizing the prophecies that have beenspoken concerning you. Use the prophetic wordsconcerning your life, your future, your ministry, career, etc as a weapon in prosecuting the good fight of faith.Ephesians 6:17 sheds more light on this; it says,“And take the helmet of salvation, and the sword ofthe Spirit, which is the word of God.” The sword ofthe spirit refers to the spoken word, and the spokenword is the prophetic word. It’s an offensive weapon. There’re two things here about prophecies:There’s the prophecy that’s spoken over your life asan individual, and there’s also the Word of God that’salready written, which the Bible refers to as “.a moresure word of prophecy.” (2 Peter 1:19). When youpick that word that’s written concerning you andutter it in faith, that’s prophecy; you’re speaking forth“Rhema” which the Bible describes as the sword ofRFEE18

the Spirit in Ephesians 6:17.For example, the Bible says, “Ye are of God, littlechildren, and have overcome them: because greater ishe that is in you, than he that is in the world” (1 John4:4). That’s Logos (Greek). But when Satan comes outagainst you, or you want to launch an offensive againsthim, you say, “Devil, I’m of God, and I’ve overcomeyou because it’s written: Greater is He that’s in methan he that’s in the world.” Thus, you’ve weaponizedthat scripture! When you utter those words as “Rhema,” theybecome the Word of God in your mouth. And theWord of God in your mouth is God talking. That’s alsowhat we do in prayer; we speak forth the Word—the“Rhema” of God in supplications, prayers, intercessions, and giving of thanks in line with 1 Timothy 2:1.EEYPOCPRAYERDear Father, thank you for the power of your Wordand for making salvation available to every man.Every soul is yours, for they’ve been bought witha price. I pray today, that many around the worldwill hear and receive the message of your love andsaving power; it’ll penetrate their hearts and impartrighteousness to them, in Jesus’ Name. TUESDAY8YOU CAN TRUST HIMDon’t put your trust in human leaders;no human being can save you(Psalm 146:3 GNB).RYPOCight from my very early years, I made up mymind not to live an empty life. I wanted to livewith assurance; to know God’s purpose. I wanted totrust God with my life. I didn’t want to do things justbecause everybody else was doing them. But how wasI going to know what God wanted? How could I trustGod with my life if I didn’t know Him?I had to go to the Bible to study and be guided bythe Holy Spirit into the revelation of His truths. That’sone book that never speculates. Therein, I discoveredthat God was more passionate for my success, victory, and joy than I could ever be. I discovered He lovedme more than I loved myself. Then it was easy to trustHim, to let go of my own dreams, desires and pursuits, and follow His divine plan.Don’t put your trust in the failing systems of thisworld. Don’t put your hopes in a government orthe society or some authority. The Bible says, “It isbetter to trust in the LORD than to put confidence inprinces” (Psalms 118:9). The arm of flesh will fail; so,don’t live your life relying on systems and structuresEERF22

created by man for your success and prosperity. You were made to put your faith in God; in theWord of God. You’ve got to start practicing relying onGod. Our theme verse says, “Don’t put your trust inhuman leaders; no human being can save you.” The5th verse says, “Happy are those who have the Godof Jacob to help them and who depend on the LORDtheir God.” Put your trust in God. Study His Word. Getto know Him; to know Him is to trust Him.When you know Him, you’ll make an unqualifiedcommitment to Him. You’d never think that, somehow, you’d end up a failure. It’s impossible. He loves youand certainly wouldn’t allow anything to destroy you.It doesn’t matter what’s going on in the world; youcan trust Him to take care of you and shield you fromall evil. Glory to God!EEYPOCPRAYERDear Lord, thank you for your love, your grace andyour kindness. Thank you for the Holy Spirit wholives in me, guiding me through life. I trust youwithout reservation, putting myself into your guidingarms, under your Lordship, for an ever-glorious andexcellent life, in Jesus’ Name. WEDNESDAYFROM “EMMANUEL” TO“CHRIST IN YOU”9And I will pray the Father, and he shallgive you another Comforter, that hemay abide with you forever(John 14:16).TYPOChe hope of the Old Testament was Emmanuel—“God with us.” In Exodus 33:15, Moses said tothe Lord, “.If thy presence go not with me, carry usnot up hence.” Every prophet of the Old Testamentunderstood that God had to be with them. It was veryimportant, and then the message came about the birthof Jesus. That was the hope of the Old Testament; thehope of Israel. But He came among them and many ofthem failed to recognize Him; yet, that was Emmanuel! Thanks be unto God that He’ll come again, andHe’ll live among them for one thousand years duringHis millennial reign! But Christianity, the Gospel ofJesus Christ, isn’t “Emmanuel.” As read in our themeverse, Jesus said, “And I will pray the Father, and heshall give you another Comforter (the Holy Spirit),that he may abide with you for ever” (John 14:16).The Holy Spirit brings the presence of God.The 17th verse says, “Even the Spirit of truth;whom the world cannot receive, because it seeth himnot, neither knoweth him: but ye know him; for heRFEE24

dwelleth with you, and shall be in you.” The phrase“he dwelleth with you” is Emmanuel, and many of thembelieved in Him as the Messiah, the anointed One.They understood that God Himself came anddwelt among them in human form, in the person ofJesus Christ of Nazareth. However, the vision wasthe latter part of that verse: “He shall be in you”, notjust “with you.” That’s the promise of the Gospel—thetransition from Emmanuel to “Christ in you.” Hallelujah!Christ in you became a vital reality in your life themoment you were born again. From then on, no needto ever “seek God’s face”; He’s in you and you’re inHim—mingled with Him as one divine creation. If theGospel you’ve preached or received doesn’t includethat God Almighty has come to live inside you, it’s timeto wake up to this reality. This is Christianity. Nevermake light of it. Praise God!EERFYPOCCONFESSIONChrist lives in me through the Holy Spirit, and Christin me is the hope of glory! The glory is revealed inmy finances, health, business and family! THURSDAY10HIS KINGDOM IN MEN’S HEARTSThy kingdom come. Thy will be done inearth, as it is in heaven(Matthew 6:10).IYPOCn the prayer format that Jesus gave to Hisdisciples in Matthew 6:9-13, they understoodthat the prayer was contextualized to a dispensationalconsideration. Therefore, following their writings, it’sclear what we should say in the light of what Jesustaught in prayer. For example, when He said, “Thy kingdomcome.,” while the fulfilment for Israel will be at themillennial reign of Christ, and that the spiritual kingdomhas come to us in Christ, and we pray to extend thiskingdom to those who haven’t yet received it intotheir hearts. He desires to see the Kingdom expand indifferent nations. Then He said, “.Thy will be done in earth, as itis in heaven.” That’s a call of the Spirit for God’s willto be done in man’s world, because God’s will isn’talways done. But He’s sent us to bring forth His will tomen everywhere; He sent us with a message. We knowthat when we go to them, the Kingdom has come tothem! And when we pray for them, we’re praying thewill of the Father; we’re praying that their hearts will beopen to receive the Kingdom because the Bible doestell us that God opens the hearts of men.For example, it tells us about a woman namedLydia, “.whose heart the Lord opened, that sheEERF26

attended unto the things which were spoken of Paul”(Acts 16:14). If the Lord would open that woman’sheart, He can open anybody’s heart. And when Godopens a man’s heart, the Kingdom comes into thatheart. Hallelujah!Through our prayers, God’s Spirit can prevail onmen’s hearts, for the Bible says, “Ask ye of the LORDrain in the time of the latter rain; so the LORD shallmake bright clouds, and give them showers of rain,to every one grass in the field” (Zechariah 10:1). TheSpirit has been poured out, and every grass in the fieldhas been touched by the Holy Spirit. Our role is to pray and speak forth the words ofsalvation, deliverance and liberty and bring men intothe Kingdom, into union with the Father, the Son, andthe Holy Spirit. And because the Father always hearsand answers when we pray, it’ll be done by the powerof the Holy Spirit. Glory to God!EEYPOCCONFESSIONI join my faith with God’s people around the worldto speak forth salvation, deliverance, liberty, intothe hearts of men, to bring them into the Kingdom, and into union with the Father, the Son, and theHoly Spirit. FRIDAY11VEHICLES OF LIFEGo ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of theFather, and of the Son, and of the HolyGhost (Matthew 28:19).WYPOChen we talk about the coming of the Lordbeing so much closer now than ever, somehave asked, “In that case, is there any need for meto still start up a business or go to school?” Whenpeople ask such questions, it’s evident they’re missingsomething. What they’re missing is the urgency ofthe moment, the earnestness of making His messageknown.Starting up a new business or profession, or goingto school are all opportunities to reach others withthe Gospel. We call them chariots, vehicles of life. The word “nations” in our theme verse is “Ethnos” inGreek, and it doesn’t just mean “countries”; it refersto social or taxonomic divisions of people. And thesemay be broken into various ethno-systems.For example, there’re ‘workplace nations,’professional nations, neighbourhood nations; allthe staff of a particular organization, an associationof engineers, residents of a village communityrespectively. If you’re a lawyer and you belong in anorganization of lawyers, that’s a nation of lawyers. AreEERF28

Youbecome the preacher in your world. As a young boy many years ago, I was inspired towin fellow students to Christ, and I did! I went beyondmy school to other schools, holding conferences withstudents. I preached among the youth groups, andmany of them were won to Christ.
