FOR WALLS,FLOORS OR CEILINGSHEATING HAS EVOLVEDIt’s not often that you come across a truly gamechanging piece of tech (think a ‘horse and cart tocar’ style development). Yet against all the odds, Irecently stumbled upon a ground breaking new wayto heat a building without burning gas. It's far moreefficient than using regular radiators, can bepowered by 100% green electricity, and you canintegrate it with our Agile API to automatically run atthe cheapest, greenest times of day. IntroducingNexGen Heating.Octopus Energy

NexGenFar InfraredElectric HeatingMove over traditional heating.a new form of far-infrared radiantheating has started to take the globalheating world by storm. Designed todeliver sunshine into your homes andbusinesses and with the added medicalbenefits of promoting healing in thebody this really is the technology of thefuture. The Future ofHeatingThe Most Efficient Heating SystemImagine living and working in a space that brings a warm day outdoorsinside and is not only great for your health but also your pocket.Far Infrared shortens wavelength as it gets hotter. This is why you seefar infrared panels on ceilings in the center of a room. They struggle towarm beyond 2.5 meter lengths. Do you really want 100 C directlyabove you head ? See our medical page for more information.

Get ReadyFor a SustainableFuture TodayThe UK Government hasAnnounced a ban on installingGas Boilers by 2025, in ouropinion this is far too late.First rate service and an absolutely fantastic product. I have installed the system in my home office andit maintains a perfect ambient temperature, consistently and cost effectively. Given I also get myelectricity solely from renewable sources its great to know I am heating my space sustainably. I havepreviously installed both wet and electric (coil) underfloor heating systems in the past and the NexGensystem is a significant improvement over both. I will certainly be using it again in the future.Construction Business

Hot HeadSyndrome andFar Infrared PanelsThe brain uses a lot of energy and this energy must be removed from thehead so that it does not overheat. Excessive heating from overhead cancause the head and therefore the brain to overheat, causing serious medicalissues.High temperature overhead panels at a normal height is not advisable. FarInfrared Panels get over 80 C and can reach temperatures of 100 C!Hospitals and Care Homes have restricted temperatures to 43 C for thisreason. Would you want a panel at around 100 C less than two metersabove your head?If you Google Hyperthermia caused by heating your head over 45 C thenyou will see why NexGen do not manufacture Far Infrared Panel heaters. The second school we have done.Straight forward install and theeasy to zone. What can far infraredtherapy do for you?Activates water molecules in the bodyThe active molecules of water helps toimprove blood circulation up to the microcapillary levels in the bodyImproved blood circulation helps toimprove the metabolismIncreased metabolic efficiency helps toget rid of body wastes through excretion, more effectivelyHelps to decrease acidity in the bloodHelps to improve the blood's oxygencontentHelps to revitalise the bodyHealth and NexGen HeatingEvery object emits and absorbs infraredradiation and the hotter an object is, the moreinfrared radiation it emits. Unfortunatelyincreased temperature shortens wavelength soit is imperative to obtain the correcttemperature and wavelength to heat ourbodies. NexGen does this both by temperatureand emitter size. This unleashes far infraredheatings proven healing properties.Allergies and AsthmaInfrared heating does not circulate dust particlesaround the home on a continuous basis likeconventional air heating systems do. So infraredpanels are an ideal solution for people who sufferfrom dust allergies or asthma.Damp and mould benefits to yourHome or Workplace Infrared panels heat solidobjects rather than just the air, this means thatNexGen can help with damp walls by drying thearea. This also means that that the spread ofmould is greatly reduced by Nexgen farinfrared heating

Some of the notable features and capabilities ofDesignBuilder are: Integrated, simultaneous solution of thermal zone conditions and HVAC systemresponse that does not assume that the HVAC system can meet zone loads and cansimulate unconditioned and under-conditioned spaces. Heat balance-based solution of radiant and convective effects that produce surfacetemperature thermal comfort and condensation calculations. Sub-hourly, user-definable time steps for interaction between thermal zones andthe environment: with automatically varied time steps for interactions betweenthermal zone and HVAC systems. These allow EnergyPlus to model systems withfast dynamics while also trading off simulation speed for precision. Combined heat and mass transfer model that accounts for air movement betweenzones.ModelsSample 3D models of each building type were created for this project. All models arebased on building designed to current building regulations and are used by thesoftware to calculate the heating load, based on the building geometry, construction, building services, activity data, and the climate file.

The heat is much more pleasant , it feels like its heating you. Its like a Saunawith less heat and no sweating! We still at the moment have radiators in somerooms. The heat in the other rooms do not feel as welcoming or consistent. Some areas heated by radiators are warmer than others. The cat wont leavethe room with NexGen in when the heating is on. NexGen is an amazingproduct.Ceiling Heating Home Owner
