Physical I/O Interface on Front and Rear-I/OMIL-STD-1553Stream 1General FeaturesThe AMCX1553 full function version concurrently acts as Bus Controller, MultipleRemote Terminals (31) and Chronological/Mailbox Bus Monitor. Versions with reducedfunctionality (Single Function or SimulatorOnly) are available as well as extendedtemperature range variants. All AMCX1553cards have the capability to handle8 General Purpose Discrete I/O (GPIO) signalsand also offer Trigger I/O. With the providedonboard flash memory the componentsboot up autonomously after power up.A full range of MIL-STD-1553 protocolerrors can be injected/detected.The AMCX1553 modules can electricallyreconstruct and replay previously recordedMIL-STD-1553A/B record files physically tothe MIL-STD-1553A/B bus with excellenttiming accuracy. The AMCX1553-n offers aninterface for 1, 2 or 4 dual redundant busstreams, the AMCX1553nT provides 1 or2 dual redundant bus streams.The AMCX1553 modules are designedto be installed on either a carrier boardto adapt to buses like standard PCI/PCIe, VME/VPX or CPCIe or on anembedded host computer.
