Deviation, if any fromgiven particulars/specifications shall not be accepted.Correction in'Rate' column, if any, should be duly authorized. RATESMUST BEQUOTED IN THE ATTACHED PROFORMA.c.The buy-back value offered for the old switches shall be explicitlyindicated in the quotation.

d.The quotation shall be duly enclosed with Earnest Money Deposit(EMD) for 5,000/- (Rs. Five Thousand Only) and 200/- (Rs. TwoHundred only) separately for cost of Tender Document in form of aDemand Draft/Pay Order in favour of "Pay & Accounts Office2Ministry of External Affairs, New Delhi". Quotation receivedwithout EMD shall be rejected without any further notice. TheTenderer must put authorized signature with official sealat every page of document submitted to Foreign ServiceInstitute.e.Bid security of the unsuccessful bidders would be returned tothem after finalization of procurement with successful bidder andno claim for payment of interest on bid security would beentertained by the FSI. EMD of a tenderer will be forfeited, if theTenderer withdraws or amends its Tender or impairs or derogatesfrom the tender in any respect withinthe period of validity of itstender. If the successful bidder refuse/fails to accept PurchaseOrder, EMD will be forfited.f.The Tenderer must be registered for collecting and depositing VATwith the Sales Tax Department and a copy of registrationcertificate to this effect, duly signed and stamped by theauthorized person of the company must be enclosed with theTender.g.PAN/TAN/TIN No. of the firm as applicable while submitting theTender must be attached with attested copies. The Tender mustalso provide certificate for experience and past performance onsimilar works for last 2 years. A tender lacking thesedocumentation will not be considered.h.The WS-2960 TC L-24 port CISCO switches shall be covered underwarranty for a minimum period of three years from the date ofacceptance at FSI.i.On acceptance of their offer and on placement of purchase order,the bidder is required to submit Performance Security in the formof a FDR/Bank Guarantee drawn in favour of the "Pay &Accounts Officer, Ministry of External Affairs, New Delhi",for an amount equal to 5% of the purchase order value, whichshould remain fixed/valid for a period of 38 months from the dateof acceptance of equipment at FSI.4.The payment will be made within reasonable period through a crossedCheque payable at New Delhi. No condition/clause with regard to interest etc.shall be entertained.

5.The quotation/tender must be dropped in a sealed envelope clearly marked"QUOTATION FOR SUPPLY AND INSTALLATION OF WS-2960 TC L-24 PORT CISCO SWITCHES &REQUISITE ACCESSORIES" along with all required documents & Earnest Money Deposit(EMD)/cost of tender document to Tender Box at Foreign Service Institute, BabaGang Nath Marg, Ministry of External Affairs, New Delhi 110067 by 19-09-2013till 03.00 PM. The Tender documents not properly sealed will not be considered.No tender after the said date and time shall be entertained under anycircumstances.36.The tender document will be opened on 19-09-2013 at 3.30 PM inRoom No. 005, Foreign Service Institute, Baba Gang Nath Marg, Ministry ofExternal Affairs, New Delhi 110067.
