CONFERENCE PRESENTERSRocci Trumper, MDOrthopaedic Surgeon, Sports Medicine – Knee SurgeryRocci Trumper specializes in operative sports medicine anddisorders of the knee (including knee replacement). Dr.Trumper earned his medical degree at the University of SouthDakota. He completed his residency at State University ofNew York, Syracuse, and his sports medicine fellowship atMethodist Sports Medicine Center, Indianapolis. He is one ofOCR’s team physicians for Colorado State University. He hasbeen a member of OCR since 1995.Alissa Wicklund, PhDNeuropsychology, Sports ConcussionAlissa Wicklund specializes in sports concussions andneuropsychology. She received her doctorate degreeand completed her fellowship in neuropsychology at theNorthwestern University Feinberg School of Medicine in Chicago.Dr. Wicklund joined OCR’s sports medicine program in 2014 aftereight years of private practice in the Chicago area.Vincent “Skip” Ross, MDSports Medicine PhysicianVincent Ross specializes in sports medicine and non-surgicalorthopaedics. He joined OCR in 2008 after 20 years of sportsmedicine practice in Cheyenne. Dr. Ross earned his medicaldegree from Creighton University in Omaha, and completed hisresidency training at the University of Wyoming.Bret Peterson, MDOrthopaedic Surgeon, Hand and Upper ExtremityBret Peterson specializes in surgery of the hand and upperextremity. He earned his medical degree from the Universityof Colorado. Dr. Peterson completed his residency at DukeUniversity and hand-upper extremity fellowship at theUniversity of Washington. He joined OCR in 2013. He is a nativeof Fort Collins and graduate of Rocky Mountain High School.

He joined OCR in 2002after more than a decade of practicing at hospitals and owning aprivate practice in Australia and England. He completed medicalschool at the University of Queensland in Australia, and hisfellowship at the prestigious Pulvertaft Hand Centre in Derby, UK.Robert Benz, MDOrthopaedic Surgeon, Spine SurgeryRobert Benz specializes in spine surgery, specifically disorders ofthe back, neck, and spine. He joined OCR in 2000 after completinghis fellowship in spinal surgery at Syracuse University, andresidency in orthopaedic surgery at the University of Californiaat San Diego. He earned his bachelor’s degree at the Universityof Illinois at Urbana-Champaign and his MD at the University ofIllinois at Chicago.C. Dana Clark, MDOrthopaedic Surgeon, Hip-Knee ReplacementsDana Clark specializes in joint replacement surgery (anterior hipand knee). Dr. Clark joined OCR in 2009. He earned his MD at theUniversity of New Mexico. Dr. Clark completed his residency atthe University of South Carolina/Greenville Hospital System, andfellowship in joint replacement at the University of Utah.Andrew Stith, MDOrthopaedic Surgeon, Foot–AnkleAndrew Stith specializes in athletic and reconstructive surgery ofthe foot and ankle. Dr. Stith joined OCR in 2019. He earned his MDat Oregon Health Sciences University and completed his residencyat Grand Rapids Medical Education Partners, where he was namedOrthopaedic Resident of the Year. He completed his fellowship atCoughlin Foot and Ankle Clinic.

He joined OCR in 2016 after five years ofpractice with a health system in northern Colorado. Dr. Halecompleted medical school at the University of Nevada, hisresidency at the Mayo Clinic, and a fellowship in orthopaedictrauma at Florida Orthopaedic Institute-Tampa GeneralHospital.Chris Stockburger, MDOrthopaedic Surgeon, Hand SurgeryChris Stockburger specializes in surgery of the hand and upperextremity. He earned his MD from Washington Universityin St. Louis, where he also completed his residency in theDepartment of Orthopaedics. He completed his fellowship atthe University of Utah. Dr. Stockburger earned his bachelor’sdegree from the University of Colorado. He joined OCR in 2019.Jeff Ebel, DOSports Medicine PhysicianJeff Ebel specializes in sports medicine and non-surgicalorthopaedics. He received his medical degree from Des MoinesUniversity Osteopathic School of Medicine in Iowa; completedhis WW Knight Family Medicine Residency at ProMedica ToledoHospital in Ohio; and concluded his fellowship at ProMedicaSports Care at the University of Toledo, also located in Ohio. He isactively involved in several research projects.Ben GiltinanOCR Orthopaedic TechnicianA long-time employee of OCR, Ben has spent many years takingcare of patients in our cast room and providing them withboth basic and custom cast-splint-brace services. He regularlyinstructs on splinting and casting techniques. During his OCRcareer, Ben has also served as purchasing manager. His currentposition is DME Manager.
