Catechesis is a distinctand special ministry in the Church. This ministry of teaching in the name of the Church has a profound dignity,which is why catechists are formally commissioned by theChurch. As the hosting church, weare asking those of you who could help, to volunteer byassisting with the preparation of this community dinner.Toward that end, we are looking for parishioners toprepare their signature entrée’s, salads, and/or desserts(everyone loves desserts) and drop off at St. JamesChurch by 4:00pm on September 21. Historically,we serve approximately 70-75 meals at these events,so prepare accordingly.
