2016 AnnualReportKiDs Beach Club

Our Mission& VisionBibles forBeachClubKiDs Beach Club is an innovative ministryestablished to mobilize the church to go outsideits walls in order to take the message of JesusChrist into the heart of its community. Our vision is to provide every 3rd through 6thgrade boy and girl a Jesus experience within theculture of their public school! We are connectingkids to Christ and putting Bibles in their hands.KiDs Beach Club implemented Great Treasure Day in the spring of 2015. That isthe day that every child in every Beach Club receives his or her very own KBCExplorer’s Study Bible at no cost to the child, church or the school. Since the firstGreat Treasure Day that spring, KiDs Beach Club has distributed 26,758 Biblesthanks to our passionate donors. Since KiDs Beach Club began distributingBibles in 2003, we have been blessed to deliver a Bible to 47,823 children. Asa result of the last Benefit Dinner and our Bibles for Beach Club program, KBCwas able to order another 10,000 Bibles, but more than 7,500 of those havealready been handed out this school year. Our next Benefit Dinner will beheld this summer and our hope is to provide even more Bibles for our growingministry next year. Kids in third through sixth grades participate in our afterschool program, but our partnering churches might not be able minister tothese children for all four years. Increased mobility rates of young families makethe window to reach these children for Christ even shorter, and as a result, many new kids enroll in our clubs each semester, so we’re not just handing outBibles to new third graders. All grades see new faces and since everyone inBeach Club receives a Bible, we’re providing more Bibles each year.Distributed on Great Treasure Day

The Vision from our Founder & PresidentIn 2016, while we boldly mobilized our church partners with amutual goal to reach their community, we discovered manyreasons to rejoice and give God praise. We rejoice that 598 children accepted Jesus as their ForeverFriend making Him their Lord and Savior during Beach Clubsthroughout the 2016-17 school year. We rejoice in a decade of ministry as KiDs Beach Club turned 10 years old on Jan. 5, 2016. We rejoice at distributing, at no cost to churches, a KiDsBeach Club Explorer’s Study Bible to every child in everyone of our 159 Beach Clubs. We rejoice that Father continues to increase our bordersmaking Missouri, our ninth state in 2017. We rejoice that after a thorough two-year certificationprocess, KiDs Beach Club is now accredited by EvangelicalCouncil for Financial Accountability. Halleluiah, Amen!Founder & PresidentWhile we are grateful for the many blessings God sent our wayin 2016 and excited about our progress, we know that theremillions of 3rd through 6th grade students who have never heardthe name of Jesus, let alone a clear presentation of the gospel. Our dedication to the Great Commission has never been morefocused for 2017 and beyond to connect these children to Christand put Bibles in their hands. On behalf of the nearly 10,000 children and the more than 2,000volunteers who were a part of Beach Club in 2016, as well as ourentire staff, thank you for your prayers and partnership as wecontinue this exciting journey together.GreatTreasureDay“I rejoice at Your word as one whofinds great treasure.” — Psalm 119:162God’s word is the greatest treasure on earth and it is the centerpiece of our ministry.
