Effortscontinued to prevent hot spots through identification and response of potential locations of concernacross clinical zones. Hospitals continue to maintain surgecapacity and have resumed elective surgeries and procedures; pre-operative testingis required for surgery patients and staff. EMA continues to hand out PPE forrequestors.o Zone 2 No excessive surge in COVID patients in the past 24 hours althoughadmissions are still on the rise. Continue to share surge data information withSE/SEC hospitals who have prison systems in their counties from the daily surge call.o Zone 3 Assessing ED census per previous 24 hours. The numbers continue to appearslightly higher. Critical Care Beds bed usage via the OHA data is increased. Numbersof Covid-19 cases in ICU and on Vents has increased this week per OHA data. PublicHealth-Seeing an increase in workload due to increased testing and contact tracing.Monitoring outbreaks in meat processing facilities and nursing facilities.o Queried the virtual DMORT team for guidance regarding bariatric decedents toinclude trends in state requests for bariatric body bags.o Continue to coordinate missions for the pull and transport of PPE to critical sectorsin Ohio.o Received notification from HHS on shipment of 20 cases of remdesivir. Theshipment is projected to arrive to the RSS warehouse Monday 11 May.
