All sales engineers, systems engineers and supportpersonnel must be aware of the steps required to properly remove the application and, whennecessary, reinstall it.Overview of the Uninstall Process Open the MEAP device Service Management Service (SMS) module on the device. Stop the ShareScan OP application Click on the application name (ShareScan OP) Click on the License Management button Disable the license and confirm Download the license Delete the license and confirm Uninstall ShareScan Op Reboot the deviceTo Reinstall Open the MEAP device Service Management Service (SMS) module on the device. Ensure that theShareScan OP radio button is selected and click to stop button to shut down the application.Click on the application name to get to the Application/License Information page. On theApplication/License Information page click on the License Management button.On the License File Management page, click the Disable button. IfShareScan OP is ever reinstalled this downloaded license file MUST be used in the installation.The standard Windows file download dialogue box is used for the download. It is essential thatyou note the name and location of the file when downloaded. The file must berenamed Disabledlicense.lic before it can be reinstalled.Return to the SMS Application screen and ensure the radio button for ShareScan OP is selected.The Uninstall button should now be available.
