These tips will help youprovide the best information possibleto your OCSS case worker. Keep every letter you receive fromOCSS or the noncustodial parent. Makecopies of any letters you write to OCSS. Immediately inform OCSS whencircumstances change in your case. Thebest way to do this is in writing. Youmust update OCSS of your address, anyaddress or employment information onthe noncustodial parent, custody changesand leads you have that assist OCSS inestablishing or enforcing your supportorder. When calling or writing, always useyour child support case number. If you do not have a current address ofthe noncustodial parent, you can still helplocate him or her.uuu Write down all child support payments.Do not rely on memory. Use a calendaror note pad to record the amount anddate of each payment you receive. If thenoncustodial parent pays you directly,you must give the payment to OCSS toproperly credit your account.
