Groups are sorted by topic. Support groups vary a great deal in size and informat – some are structured, offering a specific topic or educational program for each meeting, while others are looser and morefocused on sharing experiences among members. This is not a complete list of groups offered in Wake County. To figure out whether a particular group will meet your needs, talk to the facilitator before attending your first meeting. Additionally, some groups may decide to change meeting times or to skip a meeting occasionally, so it’s a good idea to call ahead to verify time andplace.Caregiving (General)AreaCarySponsor(s)Resources forSeniors andHeartland HospiceRaleighWakeForestResources forSeniors andHeartland HospiceName / TypeCaregiverSupport Group(and CaregiverCounselingappointments)Meeting PlaceCary Senior Center120 Maury O’Dell Place, 27513*Currently meeting virtually viaZoomDay and Time3rd Monday, 1 to 2 p.m.(1-on-1 CaregiverCounseling 1 to 1:45 p.m.)Facilitator/Contact(s)Heather Arcuri, 919-4623983 or 984-232-4523, orcarysc@rfsnc.org*Register at Cary SeniorCenter front desk or t Groupfor AdultChildren ofAging ParentsCaregiverSupport Group(and GriefCounselingappointments)Abbotswood at Stonehenge7900 Creedmoor Road, 27613*Currently meeting virtually viaZoom3rd Thursday,6 to 7:30 p.m.Tracy Taylor, 919-847-3202or tracy.taylor@kiscosl.com;or Robyn Myers,ramyers20@gmail.comBrookdale Wake Forest611 S.
