IMPORTANT TEAS UPDATESAs of August 31, 2016, a new version of the TEAS exam wasimplemented by Assessment Technologies Institute (ATI). The newversion is known as “ATI TEAS” and is the sixth installment of the TEASexam. While the ATI TEAS and TEAS V are similar in terms of difficulty, therewere a number of content updates that occurred for the ATI TEAS.Therefore, “the TEAS V preparation materials will not provide the testerwith a comprehensive overview of the topics assessed. Individualspreparing for the ATI TEAS will want to purchase the ATI TEASpreparation materials”.Another change to come along with the implementation of the ATITEAS, is that students are now permitted to use a four functioncalculator during the exam. Students may NOT bring their own. Instead, calculators will be embedded within the online version of the exam.Test centers that use the paper pencil version will provide four functioncalculators for their examinees. Finally, for those who may have previously taken the TEAS V, you willnotice that the ATI TEAS score report looks a bit different. This is mostlyjust a cosmetic change. All of the most information is the same. It’s justa bit more reader program/PreNursingSchoolFAQ.aspxDecember 3, 2019
