SINCE 2006ANNUAL REPORT 2015Celebrating 10 years of collaboration in our communityChrissy Yamada, CPASallie NeillieBOARD PRESIDENTEXECUTIVE DIRECTORThe year 2015 was a monumental one for ProjectAccess Northwest as we entered our 10th year ofoperations. It has been a time of great celebrationas well as reflection on what we have accomplished. Wehave come a long way since our official launch as KingCounty Project Access in 2006. We have extended ourcare coordination program into three counties, createdinnovative new programs with community healthcare partners and helped 1,550 volunteer providersannually provide much-needed care to patients inneed. We served 6,744 patients in 2015 alone, bringingour total over the last decade to more than 32,000!We dedicate this report to the early visionarieswho identified a need in our community andworked tirelessly for a solution. We thank ourfounding sponsors and hospital partners fortheir unwavering support. Your investment inour mission has changed the lives of thousandsof patients and helped improve the health of ourentire community. We also thank the providers whovolunteer their time and skills to provide specialtymedical and dental services to patients in need.Working together, we make a tremendous impact.During the last decade, there have been majorchanges in the health care services “industry.” Theimplementation of the Affordable Care Act in 2013solved some problems but also revealed many others,so we are constantly looking for new opportunitiesto ensure appropriate access while also supportingour physician and hospital partners. We remaincommitted to improving health care access forthose most in need, and we look forward to thenext decade of innovation and collaboration!Chrissy Yamada, CPABOARD PRESIDENTSallie NeillieEXECUTIVE DIRECTORP.S.
