UL -Recognized Durables Portfolio NowAvailable Pre-Optimized For HP Indigo PressesReduce the risk and costs of taking new material optionsto durable goods customers by using a pre-tested,UL-Recognized system.High-quality graphics, cost-effective short runs andquick turns are driving success in today’s label market.HP Indigo industrial roll presses deliver in all 3 areas.Lightfastness and abrasion resistance are additionalcritical requirements when it comes to servicing thedurables good market, especially those applicationsrequiring UL 969-recognition for outdoor use.Now, labeling can be attractive and tough due to thelaunch of Avery Dennison’s UL-Recognized DurablesPortfolio for HP Indigo roll label presses. The portfolioconsists of six, high-performance label materialscommonly used for durables applications. Eachbase material was printed with HP Indigo ElectroInkSeries 4.0 inks and overlaminated. The overlaminateused combines a tough 1 Mil UV-resistant polyesterfacestock, our best anti-aging adhesive and an ultrasmooth 1 Mil polyester release liner.Printed sample labels of these materials weresubmitted for UL 969 Marking and Labeling Systemstesting. The materials were tested and recognized foruse on an expansive list of surfaces under demandingindoor and outdoor conditions.
