With our tools, the time saved in report generation is spent on enhancing the quality ofdetailing process, by thorough checking & ensuring the proper output.Our development also includes some of the tools which apply the connections such as shear & momentconnections in the model automatically. This will give us the accurate connections with all the parameters,applied to connections such as Purlin-Rafter connections, Side girt connections, Deck Supports, RTU frames,Spacer plates in Twin Angles etcWe also have developed some utilities which are helpful for the fabrication process, such as scribing thelocating mark for fittings in NC files, avoid the piece mark scribing falling on Holes of plates in DXF files etc.,Tools which cuts the members in the model before applying the connection to the nearest length so that thematerial wastage is reduced.We have developed around 200 tools which include checking tools, modeling tools, editing tools & Reporttools.The other tools developed at Mactech which have helped us improve our Quality & Accuracy are MaterialGrade Check, Orientation & Direction Check, Plate Girders, Check Bolt Wrench Clearance, Check bolt length,Plate Centered, Edge distance of Plates & Angles, Apply Lifting holes, No PAINT Masking, Check plate width(Market availability), Paint Spec check, Masking at Field Welds etc.R&D @ MACTECH
