Immaculate ConceptionOld MonroeOPEN POSITIONS at ICOM SchoolDEACON NEAL’S REFLECTION CORNER"Take my yoke upon you and learn from me, for I am meekand humble of heart." A yoke is something that you wouldput on oxen to pull a wagon or some kind of work.Normally there are two working together. So Jesus uses thisillustration to say that we should take up our yoke and letJesus take the other side. With him helping, any burden orhardship that we bear, is much lighter. In this Gospel quote he says to take up your yoke and learnfrom him. That is why he came; to show us how to live andto love. His yoke was the cross and he accepted it with ameek and humble heart. It's not easy to do but as Jesus says,"Learn from me."Ask God today to give us the grace to be open to the message that he wants to teach us.God bless you all!!School Cafeteria Manager/Head CookImmaculate Conception School (Old Monroe) has an openingfor cafeteria manager/head cook.
