Gone are the days of a simple reference check and a few phone calls to screen new employees and volunteers. Amid securityconcerns, corporate scandals, and workplace violence, pre-employment screening has been gaining ground. When your organizationhires volunteers, it is essential that a pre-volunteer employment background check be conducted. This four-hour course is designed for leaders in volunteer organizations and non-profit sector agencies. The course will also reviewthe necessary policies and procedures to ensure the pre-employment check meets state and federal laws.Date(s)Section #LocationFeeJanuary 3091586HACC PSC 40.004 Shumaker Public Safety Center 2014 Fire Training Calendar
