Community providers who work with UR Medicine may be eligible for ePartneraccess, a view-only portal into eRecord. ePartner enables community partners who refer patients (and their staff members) to view lab orradiology results, among other activities.WHAT TO EXPECT WITH ePARTNERePartner is a secure, web-based portal that allows community physicians and their nursing staff to view real-time information about theirpatients’ hospital stays, as well as access patients’ lab tests and imaging results before a discharge summary has been completed. ePartner can beviewed on both PCs and Macs.WHAT’S INVOLVED IN USING ePARTNER?We’ve made access to ePartner streamlined for our community physicians and their office staff, while ensuring the security and appropriate use ofmedical records for our patients. To gain access to this system, please contact our Help Desk at (585) 275-3200 and ask for a ticket to be placedwith our Regional Support team. The Regional Liaison will work with each practice to identify the physicians, nurses and staff who need access.You also will need to sign documentation that indemnifies URMC for the use of the system. Once these steps are completed, you’ll be ready to go.It takes a couple of weeks to complete the important security and administrative work necessary for each user to have access, includingsome online training and release of a username and password. If you refer patientsand order labs through UR Medicine, we’ll recommend Chart Viewaccess. Or, if your interaction is solely limited to labs, we’ll provideyou with a streamlined view so you can quickly and easily accesslab results.Can my patients see the same lab and imaging results?Patients have access to chart information through MyChart. Thisincludes lab, imaging results, notes, problems, medications, allergiesand immunizations. Be aware that test results may be available topatients via MyChart before you have an opportunity to review anddiscuss them with your patient.Can I update information displayed in ePartner?No, because ePartner is a view-only version of eRecord. Youcannot add to a patient chart, or make any notation in the systemusing ePartner.
