Joint Meeting NewsBurger Nights–Honor Flight 2200- serving all veterans. Honor Flight will be September23 and 24 taking vets to Washington D. C. to see the war memorials.Research for the Kids- 2100 money will go to the University of IowaChildren’s Hospital Pediatric Brain Tumor and Heart Defect. This is a localnon- profit organization to honor Sarah Weiss and Matthew Wessels. Thegroup has raised 2.1 Million year- to- date.Brad Kruse and Scott Neyens are going on the Honor Flight as Guardians.It was voted to give them 150 each for expenses.Sunny Crest - 2500 The money will go in part to establish a patio and avehicle for the Sunny Crest residentsAll bar stools have been re-upholstered because of the damage to themfrom the Covid sanitizing effects. Banquet CoordinatorPlease sign-up at the club if you are interested in helping with upcomingbanquet functions. We need help bartending (must be club qualified tobartend)Banquet room on the hall side will be available for renting. Rates arebased on whether the person renting it is an Asbury Eagles Club memberor not. Rooms must be cleaned up after event by renting group.Pam Schaefer is the Banquet Coordinator. .Auxiliary NewsIt was voted to increase our dues to 35.00. Any auxiliary member who paid her membershipby March 26 was put into a drawing for a 25.00 gift card (Eagle Bucks) Jean Steil was thewinner of the gift card.There are 23 applications for the High School Scholarships.Installation of Officers will be May 25.
