Why is it so important to keep drippingon your list?Because it works.Here’s why:There are two reasons.1) It is usually between the 7th tothe 14th ‘connection’ or email withsomeone that they take action andcontact you, if they haven’t rightaway. This is a proven fact. Thisworks for all types of marketing,from emailing to person to person.Smart sales people know this, andsome sales people, when meetingpersonally with a prospect, willexcuse themselves from a meetingto use the washroom, just becausethe sheer act of coming back into

the room will count as a second‘connection’ to the subconsciousmind. Amazing! But it’s just theway our mind works.However, many networkers teachto move on and give up after 3tries. Or, they send emails out thatare so bad, dull, or boring that theyare not read, and thus don’t countas a connection.2) The second reason that it takestime to actually get someone onboard whom you’ve been emailingto for a long while is called the‘Hungry Cycle’.Think of the Hungry Cycle as an upand down scale of need or

‘hunger’. When the graph is down,the prospect is ‘full’ or satisfiedwith things. His ‘hunger demand’ islow. Perhaps his boss gave him aninspirational talk about the future,or he received his tax return, orperhaps a loan from a friend orparent. If your email offering tohelp him earn additional incomehits at that moment, he can’t ‘see’it.When you feel full, you won’t eat,even though you know you need toeat within a few hours, and eventhough you know your body canstore excess calories, you don’teat. If you have just eaten a bigturkey dinner, and a friend callsyou up and offers to take you to an

all you can eat Chinese food buffet,the best in the city, right now, yousay – no. Thanks, but no thanks.Same is true for income needs.Even though we need more money,people that get a short term fix willrarely keep seeking to solve theirlong term needs, until disaster isstaring them in the face again. So,what does that mean to you thenetwork marketer? It just meansthat you keep dripping on yourprospects, because sooner or laterthey will face up to some sort offinancial disaster coming their wayand become hungry again. Theycould lose their jobs, hear aboutlayoffs, have a spouse who losestheir job, etc., etc.

None of these emails contain any claimsthat will be against any of the terms andconditions of your program, as theydon’t make any crazy income promises,or product statements.Each of these emails is designed aroundsome specific NLP persuasion methods toengage your prospect with humor andcuriosity.FYI: purchasing a professionally writtenEmail campaign is expensive. A recentexample I can reveal to you - 19 emailsfor 12,000, written for an Amwayconnected person. Don’t gasp. That’s afair price for REAL serious networkmarketers. Why? Because emails Dowork. Email is not dead, it’s only dead if

people send dull, boring or typicalcanned emails to their prospects.Remember, you have invested a lot ofmoney in these leads, so don’t ever stopselling them until they unsubscribe. Justbecause they didn’t join right away is noreason to stop – EVER! Drip on themweekly or even more often. Drip onthem with an email campaign taskedaround solving their financial woes untilthey join or unsubscribe.Bottom line is this, you ARE going to gothrough a lot of leads. You’ll pay toacquire them one way or another. Youwill recruit the prospects who are ready,the rest stay on your drip list.There is money in this list, becauseeventually the reason your prospect got

on this list is going to force them tomake a decision.Who are they going to turn to?Well, if you have kept in touch with themin a meaningful and personal way, thereis a great chance they will turn to you.But what about those email campaignsyou get from your company? They mustbe good, right? Who wrote those?Professionals, right?No. Most likely distributor services orsome intern admin person. In otherwords – not a copywriter with an MLMbackground like I have.That’s why they don’t work.By the way, I took a look at upwards ofover 1000 different emails from these so

called MLM autoresponder services,thinking some of them must be good.But once I saw them I laughed until Icried. Talk about hard sell, or bad sell.Who cares about how big the ‘homebased’ industry is, or if your company is18 years old and solid, or is introducing anew lotion, pill or powder, expanding inSouth Korea or increasing the PV in yourTV?No one. Don’t get me wrong, these areimportant points for those who are partof your team, but they are features, notbenefits. And they are especially notbenefits to your prospect.Now get out there and set up yourautomated drip campaign gold mine inaction, you will find it’s nice to know its

working for you while you continue to doyour primary prospecting. Owing thegovernment money and not paying, isnearly as bad as bad health, (and thestress can lead to even worse health!).Al Capone went to prison for not payinghis taxes, and when he got out, he stillhad millions, but he also had syphilis,which got him in the end.So, we learn from Al Capone, that somethings have CONSEQUENCES. Pay yourtaxes and don’t fool around Al.But being old and unable to earn anincome has a whole bunch of

consequences that you just don’t wantto experience, even if you don’t have toshare a cell in Alcatraz.However, if you don’t act pretty soon,growing old without an income ISsomething you will experience.But it’s not here yet.
