Determining due dates involves several factors including Districtand bank holidays, processing time, and requirements related to electronic fundtransfers.Monthly Employees-Professional and Classified PersonnelMonthly employees are paid an annual salary divided into 12 equal payments.The Period Begin date and Period End date refer only to the supplemental paydates to be paid and leave dates used that will be deducted from leave balanceson each check. Kronos time cards should be approved every Monday for theprevious week. All SmartFind Express absences should be verified everyMonday for the previous week, regardless of whether a substitute was required.Approvals and verifications must be completed by end of day every Monday.Biweekly Employees-Auxiliary PersonnelAuxiliary personnel are paid on a biweekly pay schedule. The Pay Period Beginand Pay Period End date refer to the dates that will be paid to employees forhours submitted through Kronos and Manual forms. It is essential that allrelated pay information be submitted on time in order for complete and accuratepayroll processing. Kronos approvals are due on Monday, after the last weekin the pay period unless otherwise noted on the calendar.Substitutes and Temporary Employees-Professional and ParaprofessionalSubstitutes and temporary employees are paid on a biweekly pay schedule thatprimarily follows the Auxiliary schedule. However, due to District breaks andholidays, there are times these employees receive a pay check that includesonly one week of pay. All pay information must be submitted on time in orderfor complete and accurate payroll processing.
