BALL VALVESBALL VALVES, HIGH PRESSURE BALL VALVESBALL VALVES WITH SIGHT GLASS (BVSG)HIGH PRESSURE BALL VALVEBALL VALVE WITH SIGHT GLASSApplicationsBall valves are used in a wide variety of air conditioning andrefrigeration applications. They can be used for both liquid andgas applications. This type of valve is commonly used for isolatingpurposes. All valves are suitable for CO2, HCFC and HFC refrigerantsalong with their associated oils. The ball valve with sight glass (BVSG) combines the traditional ballvalve with a sight glass and moisture indicator. A typical locationfor this combination product is in the liquid refrigerant line. Theball valve is used for isolating purposes; the sight glass for a visualdisplay inside the line and the moisture indicator monitors themoisture content in the system. The new high pressure ball valve (HPBV) is suitable for transcriticalCO2 applications.Main FeaturesSealing integrity features Premium quality PTFE ball seals Premium quality TFMTM ball seals (HPBV only) Double O-ring stem seal design Premium quality neoprene stem O-ring seals (not Premium quality HNBR stem O-ring seals (HPBV) Seal cap reainer – prevents loss of cap PTFE cap seal – acts as a secondary seal Hermetically sealed sight glass (BVSG only)Technical Specificationoooo OORZDEOH RSHUDWLQJ WHPSHUDWXUH C to 120 C OORZDEOH RSHUDWLQJ WHPSHUDWXUH C to 150 C (HPBV) OORZDEOH RSHUDWLQJ SUHVVXUH WR EDUJ EDUJ GHSHQGLQJ RQ model OORZDEOH RSHUDWLQJ SUHVVXUH WR EDUJ (HPBV)Construction FeaturesMaterials of ConstructionThe valve body, valve body adaptor, ball and seal cap are made frombrass. CHECK VALVESCH EC K V A L V ESThe function of a check valve is to allow fluid flow in one directiononly. The Henry Technologies range includes both lift and in-linecheck valves. The lift check valves are series 205, 116 and NRV.The in-line check valves are series 120.ApplicationsHenry Technologies check valves are suitable for HCFC and HFCrefrigerants, along with their associated oils.A typical application is to install a check valve downstream of an oilseparator. This prevents condensed liquid refrigerant returning downthe discharge line and into the separator. The 120 series check valves are not suitable for discharge lines ofreciprocating compressors.Main features Robust design Flow direction arrow Quiet and efficient operation Minimum opening pressure Models with copper extensions – NRV E & 120 series 8/ OLVWHG VHULHV H[FOXGLQJ PRGHOV7HFKQLFDO 6SHFLÀFDWLRQMaterials of Construction OORZDEOH RSHUDWLQJ SUHVVXUH WR EDUJ H[FHSW VHULHVThe valve body for the 205 series is made from cast bronze. MAGNI-CHEK VALVESMAGNI-CHEK VALVESHow It WorksTMA Magni-Chek Valve uses magnetic attraction to return the valveplate to its seat rather than spring pressure. A conventional check valverequires an increase in pressure to force the valve plate off its seat thuscausing an increase in pressure drop. The Magni-Chek ValveTM has adecreasing force to move it away from its seat. The further it travelsthe more the magnetic attraction diminishes resulting in a decrease inpressure drop.ApplicationsMagni-Chek ValvesTM can be installed in discharge, liquid and suctionlines where it is necessary to ensure fluid flow only occurs in onedirection. The valves are suitable for use with HCFC, HFC and CO2refrigerants along with their associated oils.TMMain Features Maximum flow and minimum pressure drop Can be installed in any orientation Cost effective 30 mesh strainer – extends valve service life Optimised seat material with a neoprene-coated valve plate Suitable for a wide range of applicationsTechnical Specification OORZDEOH RSHUDWLQJ WHPSHUDWXUH & WR & OORZDEOH RSHUDWLQJ SUHVVXUH 0LQLPXP EDUJ 0D[LPXP DV SHU table belowRefer to the table for maximum operating pressure differential (MOPD)HENRY PRODUCTSMagni-Chek ValvesTM14Part NoModel NoConn 18MS-22MS-26MS-34MS-42MS-501/4 ODS3/8 ODS1/2 ODS5/8 ODS3/4 ODS7/8 ODS1 1/8 ODS1 3/8 ODS1 5/8 ODS2 1/8 ODS2 5/8 ODS3 1/8 ODSDimensions 030592330105330105Visit our website: ht(kg)CE EPSEPSEPSEPSEPSEPSEPCat ICat ICat ICat ICat I

PACKLESS VALVESP A C K L ES S V A LV E SPackless valves are so called due to the absence of a packedgland for stem sealing. Instead, metal diaphragms are usedto isolate the stem from the fluid area. The Henry Technologies range includes three versions:‘Golden Bantam’, ‘Standard’ and ‘2100B & 2111B’.ApplicationsHenry Technologies packless valves are used in a variety of airconditioning and refrigeration applications for isolating, flow control, charging and purging purposes. The valves are suitable for HCFC and HFC refrigerants, along with theirassociated oils. The 2100B & 2111B series are suitable for HCFC, HFCand CO2 refrigerants along with their associated oils.Main features Robust design Compact Heat stabilised nylon seat ring for positive shut-off Positive back-seating with valve in open position Raised seat reduces debris induced sealing issues Large diameter diaphragm for greater lift, better flow and longerMaterials of Construction - Golden Bantam seriesThe valve body, upper stem and bonnet are made from brass.
