CME INFORMATIONSCOTTSDALE INTERVENTIONAL FORUM 2021Scottsdale, Arizona March 10 - 13, 2021TARGET AUDIENCEThis activity is designed to meet the educational requirements for interventional and generalcardiologists, cardiology fellows, cardiovascular surgeons and vascular specialists,interventional radiologists, cath lab nurses and technicians as well as other medicalprofessionals who have an interest in heart and vascular medicine.EDUCATIONAL GOALThe purpose of this educational activity is to provide participants with knowledge of diagnosisand management of cardiovascular disease.LEARNING OBJECTIVES Explain the role of mechanical circulatory support in patients undergoing complex coronaryintervention Explain newer methodologies for plaque modification in coronary disease management Discuss the role for advanced imaging in cardiovascular disease management includingnoninvasive imaging and high resolution invasive coronary imaging (OCT and IVUS) Define the role of transcatheter and surgical therapies for patients with advanced aorticvalvular disease Review the most relevant trials in coronary and structural heart disease which will shapethe immediate future of patient managementACCREDITATIONThis activity has been planned and implemented in accordance with the accreditationrequirements and policies of the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education(ACCME) through the joint providership of CMEsolutions and Gaffney Events.
