Our MissionThe goal of the National Scholastic 3-D Archery (S3DA) Program is to provide 3-Dand target archery opportunities for young people in scholastic and after-schoolsettings as well as with archery-affiliated clubs and businesses in the community.We provide an effective after-school archery program, focusing on 3-D and targetarchery, and the certification and tools to deliver the instruction to youth. As aresult, S3DA has seen increased participation in 3-D and target archery by youthand parent archers using compound bows and traditional archery equipment whilealso helping to increase participation at local, state and national archery eventsand a chance to earn College Scholarships for Archery.In addition, S3DA also provides a basic understanding and respect for our naturalresources, environment and nature, with special emphasis on modern wildlifeconservation.3

Scholastic 3D Archery has partneredwith US Collegiate ArcheryAssociation and this partnershipallows many opportunities for manycolleges across the nation to see thepotential that S3DA archers have.2015 National Tournament sawstudents receive well over 200,000in college scholarships.5

Team ClassificationIn order to compete as a Scholastic Team, there must be 8 students from the sameschool and age division, regardless of shooting class or gender. The team score willbe taken from the best 5 scores from these shooters.In order to compete as a Club Team, there must be 8 students from the same Cluband age division, regardless of shooting class or gender. The team score will betaken from the best 5 scores from these shooters.Non-School Affiliated Club & Individual Memberships are also available9

NY State S3DA Our goal is to facilitate a State centered competitivearchery structure based around scholastic competition. State has been broken into 11 Scholastic Sections forcompetition Appointment of 1 Regional Coordinator Per Section Working within the NYS Collegiate Programs forScholarship opportunities (retention to NYS Colleges) Assist with program funding and grants Coaching Certifications Local program/league based competition schedules Regular regional competitions State Championships Access to National Competition12

S3DA Membership ServicesMEMBERSHIP Fee Breakdowns:-Each person involved in the S3DA program is required to become a member, including coaches,clubs, and individual students.-Programs and CoachesThe membership for each registered club or school is 50.00/year ( 125 for additionalgeneral liability insurance).--The membership fee for all coaches is 50.00 per year. This fee covers the cost of a 2million liability insurance policy. All adults who are working directly with S3DA students arerequired to have this membership, undergo coaching certification, background check, andUSA SafeSport Certification (NY Only).StudentsEach student must also be registered, at a cost of 15 for each registered archer. Thisregistration includes a medical and accident insurance policy, as well as a membership packetfor each student.-Each archer must be registered under a club by a certified coach with an active S3DA14membership.
