Sears Holdings Data Synchronization Implementation Guide1OVERVIEWThis document is intended to be used by vendors who will be sending item data to SearsHoldings Corporation (SHC) using electronic Data Synchronization with the Global DataSynchronization Network (GDSN ).Data Synchronization is the electronic transfer of standardized product information betweenTrading Partners and the continuous synchronization of the data over time.The benefits of data synchronization include: Facilitates accuracy of item data Speeds Item Introduction & Creation Enables electronic review and approval processes Improves market share by increasing speed to shelf for new items Reduces out-of-stocks Reduced shelf-tag and checkout errors in stores Builds foundation for future applications25-Aug-2017Copyright 2015, All Rights Reserved.3

This includes the publication of DS(display/shipper), commonly referred to as cartons at SHC. For MX (mixed module)which is commonly referred to as pallet at SHC, please sync the lower levels and addthe MX directly in IMA.Sears Holdings may take in unlimited packaging configurations of an item.For items originally published as “New Item”, Sears is now processing updates(modify/corrections) into IMA from GDSN for mapped fields. If you have not beenpreviously contacted about setup, submit Data Synchronization VendorRequest Form online at the Data Synchronization tab on IMA HomepageWork with your Data Pool to get the item information published to SearsHoldings1. Load items into your Catalogue(Data Pool) Obtain Education/Training from your Data Pool or Solution Partner Review GDSN Package Measurement Standards and GTIN allocation rules2. Publish new items, updates, and initial loads to Sears Holdings Production GLN: 0633815000004 (for both Sears and Kmart)3. Check for Catalogue Item Confirmations (CICs) ACCEPT CIC: Item ready for review in IMA (add additional information andsubmit the item for approval). REVIEW CIC: Data discrepancies; vendor action required. SYNCHRONIZED CIC: Item is operational and POs can be placed. REJECT CIC: Item was rejected by Sears Holdings or deleted from IMA dueto inactivity (after 60 days).4. Once an “ACCEPT” CIC is received, login to IMA to add additional requiredinformation. For non1WorldSync customers, if GTIN Name is not provided, Functional Name must be present.There are also additional IMA required attributes that can be leveraged via datasynchronization. Sending these attributes through your data pool (e.g., 1WorldSync) willalleviate the manual entry required for completing your items in IMA.
