Through program education and participation, barriers such as lackof knowledge and social ineffectiveness will be reduced. By providing events that aretruly accessible and free of charge, environmental barriers can also be hecommunityandtheissueyourprojectisdesignedNtothat theSecond is the lack of opportunities for adults with complex disabilities to actively otijeccetives talks abouant escribetheresultsandanychangeses,Obengage in leadership opportunities, gain employment skills, and to participate in issues, challenomg es rparticipants.outcthe community in a meaningful way. Through working with and mentoring the expectecipd ants, not thetirpasfive member team, we plan to support young adults in gaining experience andactivitiedeveloping leadership skills. Finally, the social club is an opportunity for all young adults in the community todevelop skills, participate in community activities and work alongside their mtheproject. If the project has been offered before, briefly describe the results and any changes that havebeen made to the project to improve outcomes for participants. The InclusiveSocialClub hasinbeenongoingforfthreeEach year our members rbenefitfromtheproject.surveys and we continue to see them become more engaged and less isolated which leads tohealthier lives. The number of new and returning members has increased each year. In thepast two years we have went from 20 members to 45, and we are projecting over 50 in thecoming year. As well, many volunteers have reported that the experience has improved theirskills and added to their education. The only change this year is the addition of a hip-hopdance class once a month, which is based on the feedback received from our withoutadisabilityincommunitybenefit from ram.be activeincluded whileᴏAdultsThose with disabilities have the opportunityᴏOldertoadults(55 romyourproject.Selectallthatapply.participatingin lactivityknowledgeandᴏᴏre- dera1dults(55 years)to contribute.ᴏFAirstNationsdisabilities that participate 5 aphicsᴏPskills.ost- ‐secondaryS.tudentsrelationships, and gain - nteersᴏNFemaleᴏCre- r/Highost- OtherᴏMetisᴏPost- sidentsᴏNonprofitBoardMembers/Volunteers3 ults(55 ipantsand/orbeneficiariesᴏPOre- HighSchoolStudentsᴏMetisᴏPost- ers/Volunteers
