IntroductionPg. 01IntroductionMission StatementThe Nebraska VOAD is where voluntary organizations share knowledge and resourcesthroughout the disaster cycle – preparation, response and recovery – to help disaster survivorsand their communities.Members of the Nebraska VOAD form a coalition of nonprofit organizations that respond todisasters as part of their overall mission.About Nebraska VOADThe Nebraska VOAD is the state chapter of the National VOAD. The VOAD consists oforganizations active in disaster response throughout the state of Nebraska. The VOAD’s role isto bring organizations together and enable them to understand each other and work togetherduring times of disaster preparedness, response, relief and recovery.The Nebraska VOAD adhere to the principles established by the National VOAD. Theprinciples are referred to as the 4C’s: Cooperation Communication Coordination CollaborationThese principles serve as the foundation for the Nebraska VOAD as it collaborates with local,regional and national partners to coordinate disaster relief, response and recovery efforts intimes of disaster.

Our muck outs include removal of flooring,drywall, plaster walls, along with personal belongings of the homeowner. Tarping istrained through the FEMA standard of applying tarps to roofs/homes.
