Benefits include asimple, error-free installation process in comparison to competing systems.Clamping power :FleX mounting clips feature two screw guidesallowing to clamp down on ceilings from 1/8”to 1” thick. Hassle-free installations even in not-so-perfect conditions. No vertical housing adjustment required. Housing and trim are mounted after painting and plastering,ensuring a cleaner, more consistent quality finish. Choice of 0 or 90 housing position in remodeler facilitatesinstallation in cluttered plenums. MORE FORGIVINGRegardless of ceiling type, FleX installations are not only faster,but risk-free, providing a consistently clean fit. Installers save time because Frame-in Kit stability is not ascritical as with competing systems, given that mounting clipssandwich downlight hardware to ceiling material. Vertical housing-to-frame adjustments are not required, asmounting clips ensure clean, uniform positioning at ceilingline. In insulated ceilings accessible from above, installers spendless time in the attic: there is no need for mounting bars, ashousing mounting clips secure the Lytening Airseal ICFrame-in Kit in position from below. With new non-insulated ceilings, installers can choosebetween the Remodeler Kit with mounting plate and theFrame-in Kit: the former allows for electrification before orafter ceiling is in place.At times, the usual position of the Power Pack will restrict entryin the plenum because of obstacles. With FleX, you can rotatehousing position 90 to complete installation (use of mountingplate is optional).Retrofit ConvenienceFleX makes it easier to replace surface luminaires with recesseddownlights, even when the junction box is fixed to a joist.
