Hello Friends,Happy February. We hope everyone had a nice New Year. With each month it seems asthough things change. TRIAD CORNERBURNING PERMIT INFORMATION:Online "Virtual" Burning Permits are required January 15 through May 1. Open Burning hours are from10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.Please apply online for open burning permit. https://www.mans ieldma.com/319/OpenǦBurningPermits are free of charge. You may not use last year’year’ s permitAcquisition ProcedureThe permits are available online only. You only need to submit your information in the form. You donot need a permit in hand to burn. Any day that you want to burn all you need to do is call the FireDepartment main number (508) 261-7321 after 9:30 a.m. on the day you wish to burn and you willhear whether burning is allowed or prohibited on that day.As per the following burning regulations, burning hours are between 10:00 a.m. and 4:00 p.m. Anyone wishing to request a permit should call no earlier than 9:30 a.m. on the day in which he or sheintends to burn or check online the status of burning for the day.Required ConditionsWhen burning, the following conditions must be met:* Burning must be at least 75 feet from all dwellings.* You must have a hose or water source nearby to extinguish the fire.* Burning must be carried out between 10 a.m. and 4 p.m., and burning must take place on land closest to the source of the material being burned.Materials normally associated with the pursuit of agriculture, such as fruit tree pruning, dead raspberry stalks, blueberry patches for pruning purposes, infected beehives for disease control, trees andbrush resulting from agricultural land clearing, and fungus-infected Elmwood if no other means ofdisposal is available. As you age, you might have more time to take care of yourself and do thethings that make you happy in lifeENDURANCE-Wouldn’t it be great if we could do a simple single exercise and beable to check off our daily fitness goal for the day? It’s simply not that easy. Endurance is a class for all fitness levels and will work all major muscle groups in thebody, while also incorporating active movements to fulfill your bodies need forcardiovascular activity. And we cannot forget to stretch! We will be sure to lengthen those muscles, tendons, and ligaments. Workouts will vary week to week so thatyou will never get boredSTRENGTH CIRCUIT-Strength work will be the focus of this class. Working arms,core and leg muslces. All levels welcomes and can be done seated.ARTHRITIS EXERCISE Arthritis exercise are evidenced based exercises that helppeople with arthritis and other related conditions, though you don’t have to havearthritis to participate. The focus of the class is on movement of the body. Theclass consists of a warm-up, stretching, toning, weight training, balance, low impactendurance and relaxation. Participants are encouraged to do what they are comfortable with. Appropriate for all fitness levels and can be done seated.:6

Sweet and Spicy Fresh Pork Mini KebabsPrep time: 20 minutesCook time: 10 minutesServings: 16 kebabs1 Smithfield Roasted Garlic and Cracked Black Pepper Marinated Fresh Pork Sirloin, cutinto 1-inch cubes1/2 pineapple, cored and cut into 16 (1-inch) cubes2 red bell peppers, cut into 16 (1-inch) pieces16 bamboo skewers (6 inches), soaked in water and drained2/3 cup honey2 tablespoons balsamic vinegar2 teaspoons Caribbean jerk seasoningHeat gas or charcoal grill to medium-high.Thread two pieces of fresh pork sirloin, one pineapple cube and one red pepper piece onto each skewer.Wrap exposed end of skewer with foil to discourage scorching.Mix honey, vinegar and jerk seasoning together for glaze.Grill kebabs approximately 10 minutes, turning occasionally, until fresh pork reaches internal temperature of145 F and then rest for 3 minutes.
