Attracting Abundance with EFTWHAT IS ABUNDANCEANYWAY?Webster’s Dictionary defines ABUNDANCE as follows:— great plenty; an overflowing quantity; amplesufficiency; fullness, overflowing;— Commonly used synonyms are plenteousness,exuberance, plenty, riches, affluence, copiousness,wealth.Usually, my clients desire more financial abundance intheir lives. However, since resistance to receiving any ofyour desires is caused by the same energetic vibration,this book will cover all areas in which you want moresuccess. Carol Look, EFT MasterEVERYTHING ISABOUT VIBRATIONBefore we start applying EFT to these 4 steps, I want totalk to you about VIBRATION, or basically, what makesthe world go ‘round. Everything holds its own vibration— colors, words, people, places, foods, attitudes — andwhen you can learn to change your vibration so that itattracts the abundance that you want rather than repelsit, your life will change immediately. We are alwaysvibrating, so it makes sense to control these vibrationalstates for our advantage. The easiest way to raise yourpersonal vibration in order to attract what you want is byusing EFT to address the above-mentioned 4 steps.Consider these questions: When you think about money, what is yourvibration about it? When you think of your body, how are youvibrating? What about when you think of finding a perfectlife partner? What feelings surface?If anything other than joy or relaxation surfaces whenyou focus on these topics, you are not vibrating in aplace that will pull what you want towards you.10

Attracting Abundance with EFTMy mother finds it soothing to collect and readcookbooks. And she knows when she follows the recipefor a chicken dish, that’s what she will get! It’sguaranteed. She doesn’t expect to get lasagna when sheuses chicken and onions.The same is true for abundance and manifestation.There are specific recipes. You will take out of the oven(manifest) whatever you put into the pot (vibrate, intend,ask for). It’s really quite simple. Unfortunately, people(myself included) just refuse to follow the recipe exactly.We always want to add other ingredients, and in thiscase, usually ingredients that slow down the cookingprocess. Ask any chef in the world and they will agree:RECIPES WORK! But you need to follow them.11

Attracting Abundance with EFTFOCUS, CHOICE&LAW OF ATTRACTIONI love the notion of choice. When I have choices, I feelfree. When I am free, I feel better. When I feel better, Iam more relaxed. When I am more relaxed and free, Iam automatically vibrating in a better place and I findthat what I want is naturally drawn towards me, with verylittle effort. Honestly, it feels as if I am cheating, andthat this is too good to be true. Try it, and you’ll seewhat I mean.What I expect this book will do for you is help youdecide where and what to focus on and how to controlyour mind so you attract or bring more of whatever youwant into your life. Your focus is your choice; no oneelse is responsible for making you have a bad day.As I mentioned before, EFT is the best and easiest tool tohelp us clean up our focus and vibrate on a joyful plane,which will in turn magnetize our desires right into ourlives.We live and operate in a world of magneticattraction; we just don’t make the most efficient use of it.Did I say magnetic attraction? Yes! Our thoughtscause a vibration and our vibration emits a signal, andanything similar to that signal is drawn as if by a magnet,to us. This is called the Law of Attraction and you could13

Combining EFTwith the Abraham-Hicks material made the difference inmy life between being financially comfortable and beingincredibly abundant.EFT will help you activate the Law of Attraction andpoint you in the right direction. What thismeans is that whatever you believe in your subconsciousmind must come true, no matter what. If you believeyou are not good enough, or that you do not deservefinancial success, you will move heaven and earth toachieve this outcome. Similarly, if you believe successcomes naturally to you, you will in fact attract successeasily into your life.Since there is no way to change the fact that our brainsdeal with our beliefs compulsively — we will alwaysfulfill our beliefs no matter what — the next best thingis to change our beliefs and expectations so we end upat the right destination. How do we accomplish this?With EFT, of course! EFT is the premier tool to helpyou change your beliefs and expectations so that whatyou desire comes naturally to you, without all thepushing and struggling.Yes, I too was taught that to make more money I had towork harder and keep up the struggle, and by all means,suffer. I could have fun on the side, but only at theexpense of my savings account. I have since learned,thanks to some wonderful teachings, new and old, that itis not your struggle that makes you wealthy, but your16

Attracting Abundance with EFTvibration about whatever you do. It doesn’t matter if youare a therapist, an artist, a conductor or a janitor.There’s that strange word again, vibration. Remember, ifyou control your vibration, you can control what youattract into your life on every level health, wealth andlove, just to name a few. If you believe in lack or expectyou will always encounter scarcity, you will receive lackand scarcity consistently. If you honestly believe inabundance, you will be shocked at how quickly yourdesires are manifested. If you find yourself annoyed atthis simple equation, try it for 30 days before you makeany decisions about whether it works or not. While itmay seem like just a theory to you now, when you usethe techniques presented in this book and see the results,you will have and be living proof that vibrations make allthe difference in the world. You are like a television setthat has been left ON 24 hours a day—you are vibratingall day long. Why not choose the channels you want?I will be demonstrating how to use EFT to improve andraise your vibration by changing your emotionswhenever you wish on an hourly, weekly and monthlybasis. Some of the feelings that area natural drag on your vibration, slowing down therealization of your goals, are: fearhelplessnessresentment/ angerhatredjealousyenvyirritationshameSince we are human, we all have the capacity to feelevery one of these emotions. The point is not to pretendyou don’t feel negative emotions. The point is to noticewhen you do, decide if you want to do something aboutit, and choose one of the wonderful tools I offer in thisbook to change your feeling, redirect your focus, andraise your vibration when you wish to.18

Attracting Abundance with EFTEFTEFT is a form of psychological acupuncture that useslight tapping with your fingertips instead of insertingneedles to stimulate traditional Chinese acupuncturepoints. The tapping on these designated points on theface and body is combined with verbalizing the identifiedproblem (or target) followed by a general affirmationphrase. Combining these ingredients of the EFTtechnique balances the energy system and appears torelieve psychological stress and physiological pain.Restoring the balance of the energy system allows thebody and mind to resume their natural healing abilities.EFT is safe, easy to apply, and is non-invasive.HOW YOU WILL USE EFTTO ATTRACT ABUNDANCEOver the years, I have developed dozens of EFT tappingexercises for attracting abundance, and I am presentingthem together here for the first time in print. The EFTexercises are designed to target the specific blocks youmay have to receiving abundance in your life. Whether21

Each EFTtapping exercise will consist of a SETUPSTATEMENT, followed by two ROUNDS of tappingthe sequence of 8 EFT points. ROUND #1 focuses onthe problem by repeating the negative reminder phrasewhile ROUND #2 focuses on the solution byverbalizing preferences, choices, and possible alternativeoutcomes.EFT DIRECTIONSSETUP STATEMENT: Choose a target for EFT --- an emotion, a block,a belief, or an abundance issue. Scale the intensity of the feeling, belief orabundance issue being addressed on theIntensity Scale of 0-10 (where 0 no discomfortand 10 strong discomfort), or just make a note ofhow you feel.22

Attracting Abundance with EFT Tap the karate chop point (see diagram) oneither one of your hands continuously whilerepeating the entire SETUP STATEMENT listedfor each abundance issue.(The SETUPSTATEMENT combines the target and anaffirmation. An example of a SETUPSTATEMENT might be “Even though I havethese money blocks, I deeply and completelyaccept myself.”)NEGATIVE TAPPING SEQUENCE: Starting at the eyebrow point, begin tapping eachpoint in the sequence of 8 points (see below)approximately 7 - 10 times while repeating thenegative reminder phrase provided for each issue.SEQUENCE OF TAPPING POINTS: EyebrowSide of EyeUnder EyeUnder NoseChinCollarboneUnder ArmTop of HeadThis directs your mind to focus on the negativethought patterns that block your ability to attractabundance and allows EFT to neutralize them.23

Carol Look, EFT MasterPOSITIVE TAPPING SEQUENCE: There are 8 positive phrases provided for eachabundance issue. Starting at the eyebrow point again, tap eachpoint approximately 7-10 times while repeating adifferent phrase for each of the 8 tapping pointsindicated. This allows you to install what you would preferto experience emotionally in your thoughtpatterns and in your life.DEEP BREATH: Complete each exercise with a slow deep breathto help move the energy through your body.24

Carol Look, EFT MasterTHE 0-10 POINTINTENSITY SCALEThe Intensity Scale is a scale of measurement from 0-10,where 0 no discomfort at all, and 10 an incredibly highrating of emotional discomfort about the issue you haveidentified (targeted) to work on with EFT.You can also measure the “truth” of a limiting belief orexpectation with this scale. EFT practitioners take themeasurement before and after completing one or morerounds of EFT. You could also call the scale ofmeasurement the “Upset Chart” or the “Truth Meter.” Itdoesn’t matter what you call it, the point is that using theIntensity Scale helps you track your progress whendoing EFT.The reason it is important to track your progress is thatoftentimes it is easy to “forget” how terrible the originalproblem felt to you, and you may not give much weightto your newfound relief after using EFT. It can bedifficult to notice the absence of something unpleasant,and using the Intensity Scale will help you see the“before and after” results. Also, using the IntensityScale helps you identify which pieces or players in your“story” you need to work on – just mention them out loudand measure the intensity from 0-10.26

Attracting Abundance with EFTNot everyone uses the 0-10 point Intensity Scale whendoing EFT. However, it’s a great way to measure yourprogress so you can decide whether to move on to a newissue or whether you need to tap more on your originalfeeling or event you targeted.The Intensity Scale can be used to measure a variety ofresponses: How true does the belief feel from 0-10? How intense is your discomfort from 0-10? How true does this statement feel to you on the 010 point scale? How upset do you feel about this? How much do you want this? How anxious are you?Using the 0-10 point scale before starting a round of EFTwill let you know how much this issue or past eventtruly bothers you now. I always ask my clients tomeasure their number on the scale from their gut feeling,not from an intellectual perspective. Sometimes peoplewill answer, “Well I know I shouldn’t feel this waybecause we all deserve success.”However, it’simportant to be clear: I want to hear how high or low theactual feeling and rating is on the scale, not the “should”or “shouldn’t.”27

Carol Look, EFT MasterSo we take a measurement before and after each round ofEFT. This will tell us the following information: Are you tuned into the issue? Are you noticing emotional improvement? Are you getting distracted by other aspects of theproblem? Is the SETUP STATEMENT on target for you?So, for example, suppose you don’t believe you deservesuccess of any kind. I would ask you to (1) repeat thesentence out loud, and then (2) measure the “truth” of iton the 0-10 point Intensity Scale. I don’t believe I deserve success (0-10)After tapping for a few rounds on “I don’t believe Ideserve success” measure how true this statement feelsto you now. It is highly likely the “truth” of thisstatement will have dropped on the measurement scale.However, what is more important is to identify whetherany specific events have surfaced for you that supportthis belief. Some possibilities are below: The time my coach said I didn’t deserve to be onthe team The time my father said I didn’t deserve to besuccessful The time the teacher said I didn’t deservesuccess 28

Attracting Abundance with EFTTake each of these specific events and measure theintensity of the emotional charge when you think aboutthem. This will give you more specific targets for EFT.Measure before and after your tapping.SPECIFIC EVENTSWhen using EFT, identifying and collapsing theemotional charge you feel from past, specific events thatare contributing to your current concerns will greatlyenhance your overall success. Our current feeling states,moods and levels of stress are formed by emotionalresponses and subsequent chemical reactions to specificevents in our lives.These events and chemical reactions are stored in ourcellular, physical and emotional
