SCREAMS 2NARRATOR (V.O.)Stampede of ANGRY RAINBOW PONIES!?2DANGER MOUSE gallops in on the Danger Horse. PENFOLD, wearinghis Giraffe Warriors onesie, grips onto DM’s waist.3PENFOLDIt’s a bit early for all this,isn’t it, Chief? I haven’t even hadmy porridge.34DANGER MOUSEEvil doesn’t have a snooze button,Penfold!4They vault a car, chasing after the stampeding ponies andPenfold grips DM’s waist harder.5DANGER MOUSE (CONT’D)(constricted)A bit tight!56PENFOLDSorry. I’ll cuddle Bernard instead.6Penfold takes out his teddy bear, BERNARD, and cuddles him.WHIP PAN TO SNUGGLES the giant teddy bear, who is hanging offNelson’s Column, shooting out black rays of anger from theblack tiara on his head.7SNUGGLESJOIN ME, FRIENDS! FEEL MY CUDDLYRAGE!7He blasts a CHILD’S TEDDY BEAR. It leaps from its pram, blowsa raspberry at its owner and joins Snuggles. The child BAWLS! .Two little teddy bears are trying to wrestle Big Mike, whojust giggles in response. As several more teddies run past,Danger Mouse dismounts and squares up to Snuggles.

And by ‘someone’ I mean youand by ‘naughty step’ I mean amaximum security prison.89SNUGGLESI’ll never surrender! I’ll destroyanyone who isn’t my friend! Do youwant to be my friend? BE MY FRIEND!9DM and Penfold look at each other, surprised.10SNUGGLES (CONT’D)I don’t care! I don’t need you, Ican make my own friends!10ZAP! Snuggles aims a POWER RAY at Bernard who comes to life,leaps out of Penfold’s arms and GROWLS at him.11PENFOLD(gasps, stricken)Bernard?11Snuggles jumps off Nelson’s Column onto a rainbow pony andswings Bernard up behind him. They gallop off.12PENFOLD (CONT’D)12BERNARD?!Danger Mouse steps up, watching them go.13DANGER MOUSELet me handle it, Penfold. I knowwho’s behind this. I’ll simplysummon the Danger Car and-13NEEEYOW! The Danger Car races past, an irate Penfold at thewheel, standing up as he drives.14PENFOLDNO ONE TAKES MY BERNARD!14DM looks around, awkward.15DANGER MOUSESeat belt Penfold!!!!He WHISTLES , leaps on Danger Horse and takes chase.15

Penfold drives the Danger Car through the gates,jumps out and stomps up to a bedroom door with a PICTURE OFPINK DAWN hanging on the door. Penfold pounds on the door.16PENFOLDPink Dawn? You open this door atonce right now!16He listens. No reply.17PENFOLD (CONT’D)Right then. I’ll. KICK IT DOWN!17He winds up to kick the door down.33INT. PINK DAWN’S NEW BEDROOM - DAY CRASH Penfold’s feet fly smash through the door, but therest of his body is on the other side. The door opens,revealing DM and the top half of Penfold stuck in the hole.18DANGER MOUSEIt wasn’t locked, Penfold.1819PENFOLDThanks, Chief.19He falls out of the door with a thud.20DANGER MOUSEDon’t mention it-20Penfold pushes past and stamps into the room, angry.21PENFOLDYou’ve got some explaining to do,young lady!21REVEAL - the room has changed. The girly pink accoutrementshave been replaced by with GOTHIC TEENAGE PARAPHERNALIA.22DANGER MOUSEWait. Where’s all the pink stuff?22A chair swings round to reveal PINK DAWN, but not as we knowher. Black hair, moody fringe and a black dress adorn the allnew Dawn as she scribbles in her journal.

And the only thingworse than a teenager is a teenaged super-villain!2627DAWNNow leave me alone before I, like,flick my hair at you and stuff.2728DANGER MOUSEI think we can handle that.28ACT TWO29DAWN29Ugh.Dawn FLICKS her black fringe, emitting a black power-wavethat sends DM and Penfold flying into a side table, coveringthem with teenage goth jewelry.30DANGER MOUSE/PENFOLD30Oof!COLONEL K’S HOLOGRAM pops up in front of them.31COLONEL KAh DM, Interesting new look.31They shake off the jewelry. Bernard willlisten to reason!77Bernard turns on the approaching Penfold, GROWLING .Penfold races back past DM.78PENFOLD (CONT’D)There’s no reasoning with him!78Snuggles grows angry as he rises up, his face darkening.795SNUGGLESNo more Mr. Nice Snuggles. LONDON STREETS - DAYSnuggles rampages through the streets ROARING and blastingevery soft toy in sight.80DANGER MOUSEWell, that could have gone better.80Teddies leap from the arms of distraught children, run fromhouses and break out of shop windows, joining his growingarmy and leaving a trail of devastated owners.DM and a depressed Penfold race after them in the Danger Car.

Who’s going tohug me now?!81He looks hopefully at DM.82DANGER MOUSEBit busy saving the world Penfold.Honestly, a few lost teddies andeveryone falls to pieces. At leastI can rely on the Professor to keepa level head. Profess-82PROFESSOR SQUAWKENCLUCK comes onscreen - she is turning theLab upsidedown, weeping with such emotion that she iscompletely incomprehensible. Snot-bubble level bawling.83PROFESSOR SQUAWKENCLUCK(INCOMPREHENSIBLE BABBLE)8384DANGER MOUSESorry Professor, what was that?.8485PENFOLDI think she’s speaking Spanish.85She picks up a keyboard and types, still bawl-babbling.86DANGER MOUSEWait, she’s typing something.86He activates his eye-patch and reads the message.87DANGER MOUSE (CONT’D)‘Professor Donkey’ is gone! LONDON - HOUSES OF PARLIAMENT - DAY11.6Snuggles blasts some MPs, whose briefcases fall open,revealing teddy bears which join his ranks to their distress.91NARRATOR (V.O.)It looks like there’s no stoppingSnuggles. But honestly, isn’teveryone a little old for teddies?91Snuggles turns TO CAMERA and blasts us with his rays.A SILHOUETTE OF A TEDDY jumps up on screen and runs off.92NARRATOR (V.O.)Mickey Phone! Mickey Phone! Wah!!!92The Danger Car flies in. Penfold blubbing .93DANGER MOUSEI-patch, scan for targets.93I-patch POV plots a course through all the rampaging teddies.94DANGER MOUSE (CONT’D)I can still contain them, just aslong as things don’t get any worse.94Snuggles appears on screens everywhere, angry and emotional.95SNUGGLESBy the way, if anyone’s wonderingwho’s to blame, it’s HER!95Embarrassing photos of Dawn on every screen - in her supergirly phase, cuddling Snuggles, having teddy tea parties etc.96SNUGGLES (CONT’D)She used to love me! She used todress me in ribbons and bows.I was her special bear!9697DANGER MOUSE97Uh-oh!98DAWN (O.S.)NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!ACT THREEBLACK STORM CLOUDS rolls over the horizon as GOTH DAWNstreaks into sight, hovering on black power beams.98

SCREAMS as shiny skyscrapers are turned black and gloomy,traffic lights are turned black, pedestrians on a zebracrossing are forced to flee as the white stripes turn blackand the cars drive across.101NARRATOR (V.O.)(still sad)Can Danger Mouse stop our villains(sniff) before they turn Londoninto a gloomy, unfriendly place?You know (sniff), more than usual.101DM continues to pilot them around black rays and dodgeattacking teddies, under the following:102PENFOLDYou’ll never understand Chief. Younever lost someone you care aboutmore than anything in the world.102103DANGER MOUSEI nearly lose my best friend everyweek! It’s the thing that drivesme. And his name is Penfold.103104PENFOLDOh. So not only is Bernard gone,but now I find you’ve got anotherfriend called Penfold who’s moreimportant to you than I am! WEEPS 104105DANGER MOUSEGood grief.105 ZAP! the Car is blasted, turning it black.7EXT. BIG BEN - CONTINUOUSSnuggles (with Bernard) scales Big Ben like a cuddly KingKong. Dawn rises next to him, both powering up their blackrays, ready to obliterate each other.7

DM-S2-E56-DarkDawn-Shooting AWNAAAAAAAAAAAAAH!!107The Danger Car screeches in between them and hovers there. DMleaps onto the bonnet and holds up his hands.108DANGER MOUSEWAIT! I know you’re both upset, butthings change. People change.Teddies change!108109PENFOLDI don’t want them to!109110DANGER MOUSENot helping, Penfold. What I’msaying is, if you love something,you have to set it free!110Dawn and Snuggles look at each other, thoughtful. Beat.111DAWN/SNUGGLES111Nah.Danger Mouse dives clear as Snuggles and Dawn blast eachother. ZAP! ZAP! ZAP! Bernard loses his grip on Big Ben and plummets away.112PENFOLD112BERNARD!Penfold leaps from the hovering Car and falls after him.113DANGER MOUSE113PENFOLD!DM leaps after him, but collides with Dawn, who spirals outof control, crashing into Snuggles. The three dangle from theclock face and can only watch as Penfold grabs a surprisedBernard with the ground approaching fast! At the very lastmoment Penfold pops open a parachute! They land on the groundand Penfold releases his grip on Bernard.114PENFOLDIt’s okay, Bernard. You go. I canlearn to live without you!Bernard’s frown lifts. and he runs into Penfold’s arms!They both BURST INTO TEARS 114

DM is in the middle.116SNUGGLESI’M SORRY I WAS SO ANGRY!116117DAWN117Me tooo!!!Dawn takes the Tiara and puts it on, turning back into PinkDawn.
