Andy Warhol is probably the most wellknown Pop Artist, mass producingimages of mass produced objects. His most famous works depictedCampbell's soup cans. Enlarged, handpainted or silk screened, framed, and hungin an art gallery, Warhol succeeded inturning these mundane images into ironic"art".Warhol experimented in media such asfilm, sculpture, paint, and silkscreen, butperhaps his greatest work was hisinvention of himself as an internationalcelebrity and pop culture icon.He made people question, “What isconsidered ART?” by creating artworkthat was made up of images from popularculture, like Coca Cola, Campbell’s Soup,Marilyn Monroe, etc.
