Direct MIDI Notes Track InputUnfortunately MIDI MAPpings can’t be saved as presets (only in ‘full’ Ableton Live sets) but you can as well send MIDI notes into atrack directly and set those notes to trigger ZOOMable buttons. This way you are able to save ZOOMable presets which you can access and recall those quick.Click on the “ ” tab to open the view for the MIDI notes section.Every function button can be triggered by a direct MIDI note input. You can set the MIDI note pitchmanually or click on “S” for sync. The field is now listening to MIDI note input and will detect and setthe pitch automatically. After you set up some MIDI notes you can save this as a preset in yourAbleton Live’s User Library by drag’n’dropping the device into it.Switch iiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiii

Use iPad and MIRA AppIf you have an iPad, you will be able to access ZOOMable via the MIRA App, which you can get here. Your iPad will need to be on the same WIFInetwork like your computer, for Macs it is possible to make a connection via USB as well. The MIRA app guides you through this whole process andis really easy to set up.

Possible Extra InstallZOOMable is using a MAX external object called “11Strokes” from Olsen11 - if you are using OSX Big Sur you might need to download and installthis external manually. This might occur with some other OS as well, so If you can’t get ZOOMable working and you are sure you set up everythingelse right, give this a try.Go to www.11olsen.de/code/max-objects/11strokes and download the MAXexternals. Unzip the folder and place the folder somewhere, where you want itto be stored permanently. You will need to open the MAX app, which you might do for the first time now. MAX is automatically installed when using Ableton LiveSuite but might be not showing up when you are looking for it in your applications folder. You definitely will be able to open MAX via Ableton Live like described on the next page.
