Financial Aid: The Process“CollegeCostKnowledgeis Power.”

Net Price Calculator NET PRICE is the amount that a student pays to attend aninstitution in a single academic year. An academic year withSLCC is Fall/Spring/Summer.The NET PRICE is the total after subtracting scholarships andgrant aid that the student received for tuition and fees.Focus on the NET PRICE and not the STICKER PRICE.The STICKER PRICE is the cost of attendance (includes: tuition, fees, books, housing, transportation).

Net Price Calculator This is available on a college’s website. Net price calculators can help studentsget a better handle on what they will be expected to pay. Students enter information about their family’s financial situation to learnwhat similar students paid to attend the institution in the previous year. SLCC NET PRICE Calculator: tor.aspx
