General InformationCOURSE DESCRIPTIONMayo Clinic’s Gastroenterology and Hepatology 2016 is designed to update physiciansand other health care providers practicing in gastroenterology and hepatology about newapproaches for diagnosis and management of gastrointestinal and liver diseases. Facultywill present data on multiple topics, including inflammatory bowel disease, colorectalneoplasia, general gastroenterology, esophageal, motility, nutrition, pancreaticobiliarydisorders, endoscopy and hepatology.Controversies in diagnosis and management will be analyzed in discussions andconcurrent breakout sessions. Complex endoscopy cases and cutting-edge technology willbe presented by expert endoscopists in a video forum.Highlighting the 2016 course is participation by the Presidents of all fourmajor gastroenterology societies in the United States.
