Other Fees and Charges2020-2021 Academic Year(Fees are non-refundable after week one of classes unless otherwise noted)CIPSI - Center for InterprofessionalStudies and InnovationM.S. in Health Prof. Ed Portfolio FeeFeeFee DescriptionThis one-time fee supports the cost of reviewing and processing requests for 1,400 course waivers based on work completed through the Harvard MacyInstitute and/or the Center for Medical Simulation.SHRS - MS Communication Sciences and DisordersThis fee assessed each year for two years covers the cost of Harvard/MITCSD Harvard/MIT Doctoral SHBT Students Fee 4,200 Doctoral SHBT Students participating in the Institute's CSD program takingover 40 credits.SHRS - Doctor of Physical Therapy ProgramAnatomy Fee 650This fee is assessed to all entry-level Doctor of Physical Therapy students intheir first term of enrollment to provide support for costs associated withclassroom teaching aids specific to anatomy.SHRS - Doctor of Occupational Therapy ProgramOT Advanced Doctoral Experience FeeThis fee is assessed in second and third year of enrollment beginning with 1,000 the class starting summer 2019 to cover the costs of mentoring andexecuting the Advanced Doctoral Experience projects. 350This fee is assessed to all entry-level Doctor of Occupational Therapystudents in their first term of enrollment to provide support for costsassociated with classroom teaching aids specific to anatomy.Anatomy Fee 600This fee is assessed to all Physician Assistant Studies students in their firstterm of enrollment to provide support for costs associated with classroomteaching aids specific to anatomy.Board Exam Prep Fee 400This fee is assessed to all Physician Assistant Studies Students in the firstterm of the second year of enrollment and applies to a comprehensivepackage to prepare students for the PA licensing examination.PA Student Equipment Package 785This fee is assessed to all Physician Assistant Studies students in their firstterm of enrollment to cover equipment necessary for patient care coursesthat will also be used during the second year of clerkships.PA Access Medicine Fee 100This fee is assessed to all Physician Assistant Studies Students in the Summerterm of Year 1 and Year 2. 716This fee is assessed to all ABSN and DEN students in their first term ofenrollment and covers costs of a comprehensive package to preparestudents for the NCLEX-RN licensing examination.Anatomy FeeSHRS - Physician Assistant Studies ProgramSON - School of Nursing ProgramsATI (Assessment Technology Institute) Fee(ABSN and DEN)DNP Portfolio FeeDNP Program FeeThis one-time fee must be submitted when submitting a portfolio for the 1,400 Doctor of Nursing Practice program. The fee provides support for the cost ofprocessing the portfolio. 500This fee is assessed each term of enrollment to all students in the DNPProgram to support costs of individualized services and special events andofferings as provided by the School of Nursing.Clinical FeeAll Programs with clinical placementsThis fee is assessed in the first and last terms of enrollment for ABSNstudents and annually in the Fall term to to all other programs with 1,200 matriculated students in academic programs that require clinical educationplacements. The fee provides support for expenses associated with clinicalplacements.

Other Fees and Charges2020-2021 Academic Year(Fees are non-refundable after week one of classes unless otherwise noted)Other FeesContinuing Enrollment FeeAll matriculated students are required to be enrolled during each term priorto graduation. This fee is assessed to those students who extend their 1,400enrollment by registering for a continuation course in order to complete aterminal project or clinical experience. 100This fee must be submitted with the application for admission. The feesupports the cost of processing the application for admission. This fee is nonrefundable. 700This one-time fee is assessed to all matriculated students at the point ofeach new matriculation into a degree or certificate program. The feeprovides support for administrative, orientation and graduation expensesassociated with the student's matriculation. This fee is non-refundable. 500This deposit must be submitted to secure the applicant's place in theirprogram. Deposit amount will be credited to the applicant's tuition and feeaccount in their first term of enrollment. This fee is non-refundable. 200This charge will be added to all unsettled balances on the day following thepayment due date. Settled balances include full payment and, or,documentation for account clearance. Documentation for account clearanceand balance justification includes the following: Tuition ManagementSystems enrollment confirmation, National Health Service Corps Scholarshipletter, or other awarded financial aid. Awarded financial aid must be greaterthan the balance due to avoid the late payment fee. This supportingdocumentation must be received by the Financial Aid or the StudentAccounts Office prior to the payment due date. This fee is non-refundable.Late Payment Fee II 200This charge is assessed to any student with an unsettled account balance onthe 13th class day following the start of the term, regardless of when astudent's actual class starts. Settled balances include full payment and, or,documentation for account clearance. Documentation for account clearanceand balance justification includes the following: submission of payment toTuition Management Systems prior to the 13th class day, National HealthService Corps Scholarship letter, or confirmation of awarded financial aid.Financial aid documentation must be greater than the balance due to avoidthe late payment fee II. This fee is non-refundable.Late Registration 150This charge is assessed to any student when a published registrationdeadline is missed. This fee is non-refundable. 10This charge is assessed to any student requesting an "official" copy ofan academic transcript issued by the MGH Institute. Official transcripts bearthe official seal of the Institute as well as the signature of the Registrar.Unofficial transcripts are free of charge, but do not carry the seal of theInstitute or the signature of the Registrar, and are not considered officialdocuments of the Institute.
